We’re hiring a Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer to support highly advanced CNC and automation systems at a major aerospace facility in Bristol. This is a long-term, stable role where you’ll play a key part in keeping complex, high-value machinery running at peak performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Diagnose and repair faults on special purpose CNC machines and PLC-controlled equipment (Siemens, FANUC)
  • Carry out corrective maintenance, fault finding, and root cause analysis
  • Perform machine calibration, alignment, and optimisation
  • Support and oversee preventive maintenance activities
  • Work closely with remote engineering teams to resolve technical issues
  • Maintain clear service reports and technical documentation
  • Act as the onsite technical expert in a customer-facing environment

A Senior / Mechanical Design Engineer is required to join an engineering team who are working on the design and development of UAV / Drone launch systems. The company design and develop their products in the UK for the global markets.

With a growing order book, they are seeking to grow their engineering team and require Senior / Mechanical Design Engineers to join their highly innovative and forward-thinking team. The Senior / Mechanical Design Engineer will be essential in strengthening the future engineering capabilities of the organisation and as such will be charged with developing mechanical design schemes and detailed designs of complex parts and assemblies.

The Senior / Mechanical Design Engineer will be proficient in CAD (ideally SolidWorks) to design and detail component and assembly models and the associated drawings.  A hands-on approach and can-do attitude are essential, as is the ability to work independently within a small engineering team.

  • Using hand calculations, simulation methods, modelling tools and CAE tools to size, analyse and optimise system elements.
  • Carry out concept design of mechanical systems using SolidWorks

  • Support in-house prototype build.
  • Occasional optional travel outside of the UK to support new projects

As Senior / Mechanical Design Engineer - you will have;

  • BSc/BEng in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven mechanical design experience within the aerospace/defence/motorsport industries
  • Proficient in modelling parts & assemblies in CAD (ideally SolidWorks)
  • Proficient in carrying out engineering calculations and the use of modelling and simulations software to support their design work. (Mathcad, ANSYS or similar)
  • Experience in developing mechanical systems from concept to reality
  • Proven background in DFM
  • Ideally some experience with DFMEA
  • Knowledge of pneumatics would be beneficial though not essential

Sales Manager - EDM - USA (Remote)

Following continued growth of our privately owned Client in the US and North American aerospace and IGT (industrial gas turbine) manufacturing sectors in particular, we are seeking an additional remotely based Sales Manager to support the further delivery of sales of their EDM graphite (EDM aerospace electrodes) and consumable products. This is a consultative sales approach.

As a dedicated sales professional ideally having experience in EDM / graphite, the role will be targeted on further growth with new and existing clients across these sectors. The Sales Manager will represent the full product range from fully manufactured graphite parts to EDM consumables and wire. A background in CNC manufacturing & consumable sales would be considered.

Supported by product and process training where required, the Sales Manager will be required to manage workloads, key account engagement and customer demands. Key responsibilities include:

  • Having a core focus on new customer identification and engagement.
  • Support the management of existing relationships to develop further sales and programme inclusion.
  • Work closely with the US General Manager to support sales development and strategy deployment.
  • Manage your territory through meeting with customers and attending relating events and trade shows.
  • Support and deliver accurate market growth.
  • Maintain and contribute to the existing CRM.
  • Following up on leads and quotations.
  • Maintain visit logs and submit regular reports.
  • Work in a process driven and professional approach.


The successful applicant will:
