Surveyors Employers Agent / Project Management

What You Will Do:

Project-manage residential schemes across affordable housing, Build to Rent, and market sale sectors end to end as an Employers Agent.

Support project modelling and financial viability principles, translating assumptions into clear delivery plans.

Oversee day-to-day administration under JCT D&B Contracts or bespoke Development Agreements, ensuring smooth execution.

Coordinate delivery from inception through completion, helping ensure projects meet time, budget, quality, and compliance targets as an Employers Agent.

Prepare robust tender and contract packages, while maintaining accurate records and clear instructions throughout the contract lifecycle.

Identify programme, cost, and compliance risks early and escalate appropriately, helping protect outcomes for the project team and stakeholders.

What You Will Bring:

Experience in an Employers Agent or equivalent role, with a strong track record managing projects from inception to completion.

A relevant building surveying or quantity surveying background, or civil engineering background, or groundworks, plus at least two years' experience within the construction and development environment.

MRICS or MCIOB is preferred, and working towards APC/RICS qualifications is highly advantageous.  However we are happy to sponsor and invest in our people. 

Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to funders, boards, and delivery teams.

Confidence in organising workloads, managing project teams, and working autonomously while knowing when senior input is required.

Location:

Location is Gloucestershire, supporting delivery of residential projects within a 2 hour geographical area, supporting the wider affordable housing and Build to Rent market.

This role is predominantly office based, but with flexibility to work from home 1 day a week and there will be client meetings, once per month.
