**Production Supervisor needed in Telford, Shropshire**
We are on the lookout for an ambitious Production Supervisor to join a well established manufacturing business in Telford, this would be working a day shift pattern Monday to Friday and the role comes with an annual salary up to £40,000 per annum (dependant on experience).
The hiring manager is looking for someone who has a background in Electrical Manufacturing, and previous experience within an Electrical Assembly, Electrical Fitting, Panel Wiring or Switchgear business would be well received.
**What You Will Do:**
- Act as the primary point of contact for shop floor personnel, addressing production issues, shortages, and providing general guidance.
- Lead daily shopfloor walkarounds with management & engineers, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all jobs.
- Promote and ensure a safe, clean, and tidy work environment, enforcing Health & Safety procedures.
- Oversee the goods inward and despatch process, managing overtime to meet production targets.
- Maintain regular communication with the Operations Manager & Production Manager regarding workload and labour allocation.
- Manage consumable stock levels and perform basic forklift duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage technical engineering projects from conception through delivery.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.

Technical Skills:
- Good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics design.
- Experience selecting Instrumentation, Pumps, motors and valves.
- ATEX experience is beneficial but not fully necessary.
- Experience in bespoke machinery design.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies.
- Ability to create technical documentation, including system diagrams, requirements, and reports.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
