 Shift Pattern- 4 on 4 off Days & Nights

What You Will Do:

- Help deliver scheduled preventative maintenance to keep production running smoothly and safely.

- Respond quickly to breakdowns in designated areas, identifying likely causes and suggesting improvements to reduce repeat issues.

- Communicate effectively with the Engineering Shift Manager or Principal Engineer and work with operations to minimise disruption.

- Follow engineering standards and maintain strong hygiene practices in a high-compliance manufacturing setting.

- Support timely reporting of Health and Safety, Animal Welfare, and Environmental issues as required.

- Raise stock and non-stock request forms to support maintenance activities and continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring:

- Machine minder or technical operator experience, or practical exposure to factory environments.

- A strong desire to develop into engineering, with a clear motivation to learn and take on new responsibilities as a Junior Maintenance Engineer.

- Numerical and reasoning ability suitable for entry-level technical apprenticeship requirements, including Functional Skills Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy and a pass in the Technical Abilities Test.

- Confidence working in an environment where safe working practices and attention to detail matter every shift.

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
