Maintenance Contracts Manager Location: Exeter Salary: £ Negotiable Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Contracts Manger to support and manage our client’s customer support activity within their gas turbine business. The Maintenance Contracts Manager will work with overseas Business Managers and will be responsible for selling, on behalf of our client, the company’s long-term maintenance contracts for our gas turbine-based power generation equipment. The Role: This role is reporting to the Executive Manager Customer Support, and will involve travel overseas, often at short notice as required, to support the overhaul business requirements. Suitable candidates are expected to have a good knowledge of the power generation business and to be able to establish and develop customer relationships, understanding customer requirements and targeting services to meet the customer requirements. Alternatively, applicants with a relevant commercial and contractual background in the maintenance of capital plant industry will be considered. The EC&I Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day hands on operational safety, generation and environmental performance of the power station. Role: AD Plant Operator Location: South Milford, North Yorkshire Salary: £31,000 p/a Overview: We are currently recruiting for an Anaerobic Digestion Plant Operator to work on shift for our client in the South Milford area of North Yorkshire, the role will be an exciting opportunity for someone to join a well establish business and will report to the operation manager. The AD Plant/Site operator will be responsible for the daily production operation of the AD plant ensuring that any production schedule is completed in an efficient and safe manager. Duties and Key Responsibilities: The operator will also be responsible for monitoring the daily safety and environmental performance of the plant ensuring that it is operating in accordance with environmental parameters and legislation and working with site safe systems of work. Operating control systems to achieve plant start up, continuous operation, shut down and testing. Carrying out detailed routine operational plant inspections, first line fault finding and minor repairs and maintenance. Close monitoring of plant and equipment to identify any issues and ensuring that any defects are logged onto the maintenance management system. Providing feedback and being proactive in plant performance, reliability and availability. Monitoring plant performance and developing new ideas and measures in order to improve performance, reliability and efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring feed-stock deliveries are accepted in accordance with the company acceptance procedures as well as telehandler / forklift operations. You will be responsible for the safe loading of digestate material for removal from site. Remote operation and monitoring of site out of hours via an electronic system on a rota basis, including attending site out of hours in the event of breakdown etc. This includes bank holidays and weekends working. Ensuring that site cleanliness and hygiene requirements are maintained to the highest standards at all times. Person: Experience in an appropriate engineering / operation or technical discipline will be required. A flexible approach to work including the taking on of additional projects as requested by the Operations Manager and a willingness to contribute and assist the whole team ethic. Service Engineer - Power Generation Location: Exeter Salary: £ Negotiable Overview: · We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Engineer to work for our client at their site near Exeter, the role will involve carrying out all aspects of service and maintenance activities to the highest quality of support for the customer at all times. · The role is multi-disciplined and includes mechanical, electrical and electronic skills. · The work is usually carried out at the customer's site so the engineer must be able to work using their own initiative and with minimal supervision. · The suitable candidate must also demonstrate leadership, a willingness to accept responsibility and the ability to supervise, control and develop other engineers. Ensure plant cleaning schedules are fulfilled to a satisfactory standard. Report when stock levels are at re-order level for all items of spares and consumables Competencies: Attention to detail with the ability to effectively interpret data, and knowledge of fault finding. Ability to work under pressure and take on additional duties when required. Ability to work on own initiative. HNC/BTEC/ONC in Electrical Engineering. HV experience/training desirable. City and Guilds 236, parts 1 and 2 in Electrical Installation is highly desirable. Knowledge and/or experience of power generation and industrial electrical systems.
