Logistics Solutions Engineer

What You Will Do:

• Develop and deliver material handling and process improvement solutions to optimise efficiency and reduce costs.

• Coordinate the implementation of strategic logistics projects, including advanced automation technologies such as Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).

• Research and benchmark best-in-class logistics solutions to ensure the company stays ahead of the curve.

• Collaborate with external suppliers to deliver innovative projects that align with the company’s logistics strategy.

• Use data analysis and problem-solving tools to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.

• Lead or assist in facility changes and installation programmes to support the company’s long-term goals.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven experience in working with external suppliers to deliver successful projects, preferably within logistics in the automotive industry.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Knowledge of material flow principles and strategies, with a focus on automation and efficiency.

• Excellent data analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

• A proactive, results-driven attitude with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

• Experience/knowledge of AGV implementation & technology is desirable.
