Service Engineering Manager

A new role has arisen for a Service Engineering Manager to join a manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire. In return for your experience, this business will offer you a basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum (dependant on experience).

The hiring manager is looking for someone who has come from the heavy engineering industry and has previous experience managing a team of Engineers.

As a Service Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for controlling all aspects of the Service Engineering team and will be working closely with the Technical & Operations Director.

As a Service Engineering Manager, you will be required to:

• Assign jobs to the Service Engineers
• Supervise the team
• Prepare quotations
• Liaise with customers, and visit customer sites as and when required
• Complete all invoicing requirements to clear off the jobs on the internal system

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A full UK Driving License
• Recycling machinery experience (preferred)
