The STA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of automotive components into the supply chain by managing, enhancing, and improving supplier performance related to quality, costs, and delivery. As an STA Engineer, you can expect to take on some of the following:
- Implement and manage advanced product quality planning (APQP) methodologies to anticipate and prevent potential quality issues and support project milestones that result in on-time quality submissions
- Develop a PPAP activity plan in conjunction with stakeholders
- Use quality tools APQP, PPAP,8D, FMEA control plans, process mapping and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain robust quality assurance processes for automotive components
- Act as a liaison between the supplier, Design, Engineering, Programmes, Purchasing, and Quality Departments
We are seeking an STA Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related and equivalent discipline. You will also require:
- Proven experience in an STA role working on Supplier Quality Assurance within the automotive industry within an OEM or 1st Tier Supplier
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and working ISO9001/IATF16949 and other relevant quality management systems
- Thorough knowledge of industry standards and quality requirements for automotive components
- Ability to carry out audits and monitor and report on Supplier performance
- Excellent understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and other quality management tools

As an HR Administrator, you will work as part of an established HR team offering crucial support across the recruitment and administrative functions. The position involves accurately maintaining HR records, updating job descriptions on the intranet, and offering crucial administrative support, including note-taking during employee relation meetings.
Responsibilties:
- Provide administration support covering the entire employee life cycle from on-boarding through to the exit interviews, processing employment changes such as probations, pay and role changes
- Accurately and comprehensively collate information in readiness for payroll reporting
- Update the payroll software and HR database with new employee and relevant change information, ensuring employee records are kept up to date and supporting documents are saved to employee files
