As a member of the RDQ team, you will conduct experiments and trials under the guidance of more senior team members. You also oversee the experimental workspace, adhering to all food safety and quality policies.

To succeed in this role, you will prepare, operate and maintain the equipment and ingredients for the efficient and effective operation of the experimental workspace while working to the highest standards of safety and quality by ensuring that food safety and quality policies are adhered to including risk assessments, SOPs, HACCP and good manufacturing processes.

Financial Controller (Supply Chain Operations)

Contract Length: 6 month contract

Location: Amsterdam (hybrid working, 2 days a week on site)

Rate: €60/hr Ltd

As a Senior Financial Controller, your key responsibility would be to research, identify, design, deploy, document and train the business processes in the scope of Order Management in a sustainable and quantifiable way to address the business growth agenda. You would monitor, review, analyse and improve the performance of these processes to lead improvements in the existing environment, ways-of-working and through innovative digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Excel in the Order-to-Cash processes, from order receipt to final invoicing for B2B and D2C channels
  • Be accountable for defining business requirements and priorities
  • Be responsible for the global business processes within our Order Management and Order Fulfilment teams
  • Collaborate across the business to provide expert support in diagnosis of processes within area of expertise and perform gap analysis
  • Collaborate with IT and partners to drive selection design and configuration for right technology and data solutions; champions “best of suite” (SAP S4/HANA)  
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary team set-up with high autonomy and end-to-end responsibility
  • Lead or support the process changes & enhancements implementation globally; model potential outcomes for process and system changes; ensure processes are implemented as designed
  • Change agent, clarifies the impact of the new solutions on ways of working including People, Organisation, Process, Systems and Analytics
  • Actively interact with (IT) Business Analysts, Functional Consultants, other BPE’s and user communities to share knowledge on improvement practices.
  • Facilitate learning, provide process training (competency development) and prepare end user documentation
  • Drive continuous process improvements to best in class
  • Continuously monitor process performance, analytics and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Execute process adoption and capability maturity assessments; translate these into business requirements and a development roadmap
  • Benchmark “state of the art” internally and externally, research and document best practices, elaborate leading edge process and encapsulate new technologies and techniques in future roadmap, implement and track progresses
  • Identification of new innovative digital solutions, and ways of working, translated into actionable improvement initiatives

Key Skills / Experience Required

  • Extensive process expertise in SC Operations, more specifically O2C Order Management and Order Fulfilment
  • Expert in agile ways of working and lean methodologies
  • Degree qualified e.g. Master's degree in the space of SC operations (desirable)
  • Excellent experience in and understanding of SAP S4/HANA
  • Knowledge of the supply chain processes in SAP S4/HANA
  • Digitally savvy & data-confident
  • Strategic skills/conceptual thinking – ability to see and develop the bigger picture
  • Good influencing & communications skills; a bridge-builder
  • Decisive and self-initiating
  • Change Management skills
  • Analytical & process oriented
  • Fluent in English; verbal and written, in addition to local language

JOB PURPOSE: REPORTING TO:

To develop and improve the way in which our client purchases Indirect goods and services. Purchasing Supervisor e To negotiate costs and other terms effectively in line with department objectives, procedures and company direction.

DEPARTMENT:

To identify, recommend and implement cost reduction opportunities. Purchasing e Agree standards and KPI's with supplier in line with stakeholders, with agreed monitors and escalation routes. Control ordering process for Stores.

MAJOR TASKS: 

  • To be responsible for negotiating the lowest total acquisition costs for indirect goods and services whilst maintaining agreed levels of quality, delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
  • To assist department staff in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
  • To identify and recommend suppliers for new / existing requirements in order to meet cost reduction targets and remove consistently poor performing suppliers.
  • To monitor commodity market trends in order to provide the base information required too conduct effective strategic supplier negotiations.
  • To assist in the drafting of purchasing contracts between new / existing suppliers for consideration and approval.
  • To control and improve ordering process for stores.
  • To co-ordinate and manage effectively the release, progressing and replies to quotations with - recommendations and proposals.

GENERAL TASKS:

  • Manage implement projects via the use of SMART targets to pre-agreed budgets and time-plans.
  • Enforce Health & Safety as it applies to the Company's operations.
  • Support and liase with the departmental Manager on personnel issues with respect to conditions of service, rate of pay, appointments and terminations according to our current Company handbook and relevant policy.
  • To be accountable for the departments use and maintenance of all plant, building and equipment.
  • To assist with the departments training in the broadest terms.
  • Ensure the company's disciplinary and working procedures are adhered to as stated in our Company's manuals, policies, contracts and handbook, compliance with SOX and other international standards.
  • To assist in the development of a continuous improvement and co-ordination in the department
  • To be responsible for the security of the department's area.

Position Description:
A Senior IDT Programme Manager and integral member of the IDT Transformation office team, responsible for managing and monitoring complex transformation programmes in a large portfolio containing over 500 initiatives, with a strategic mindset and ability to challenge priorities, design and implement effective programme governance and bring best-in-class methods and techniques to guarantee delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Leading the transition from a traditional project management based approaches to a new product-led operating model where the teams are entrusted to resolve customer-centric problems via Lean and Agile practices.
