Category Buyer Range: Competitive + benefits Location: Rocester An experienced Category Buyer is required for a world leading off highway vehicle and equipment manufacturer based in Rocester, you will be contributing to the creation and execution of category strategies within the central purchasing team. Candidates with significant category management across multiple categories and divisions would be well received. This world leading off highway vehicle and equipment manufacturer based in Rocester requires an experienced motivated, dynamic, detailed and driven Category Buyer. As a Category Buyer you will be required to: Ensuring that the supply base within that particular category is capable of meeting the quality and delivery expectations of BU’s and / or Regions. NPI - work in conjunction with Advanced and Business Unit Engineering to deliver the cost targets and delivery of these throughout the NPI process. You will will support the current Global Programme Management UK team, provide general facilitation support, and will be given the opportunity to have direct project management accountability for a limited portfolio of smaller projects. The role requires a good understanding of program and project management tools & processes. It is an entry level role for a Project Management professional, with the candidate expected to have extensive Project Management Office experience with limited exposure as a Project Manager. Support Project / Programme managers in planning, project control, resource loading, finance, and risk management. Performance Systems Engineer - Powertrain £Competitive plus benefits Peterborough Automotive A Performance Systems Engineer is required to play a crucial part in the development of modern off highway powertrain systems; verifying and optimising the system performance of an off highway diesel engine powertrain system. Candidates with familiar with off highway heavy duty machines & applications would be well received. Due to increased workloads this company, the world's largest independent company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains, requires a proactive Performance Systems Engineer, based at their client's site in Peterborough, to undertake the generation and maintenance of powertrain system models and the analysis of simulation tasks and co-ordinate calibration of those models from real world testing data & engine test cell results.
