We are currently seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our clients Aerodynamics Department. The successful candidate will be a capable developer who is self-motivated and able to convert requirements into usable systems and code quickly and efficiently with minimal assistance and supervision but realise and acknowledge the need to seek guidance where appropriate. The candidate must be able to deliver quality solutions to tight deadlines working in a pressurised environment. The ideal candidate will have skills and experience required for this role including; proficiency in writing C++ within Visual Studio, proficiency in designing and developing databases within MSSQL Server and an expertise in developing intuitive and responsive GUIs. The ideal candidate will have the following skill/knowledge: Significant' C++ experience (Essential) Experience using MSSQL / T-SQL database (Essential) Visual Studio 2015/2017 (Essential) Nice to have but not essential Professional experience of Python (Beneficial) Professional experience of C# / WPF / WinForms (Beneficial) Beneficial attributes for this role include, experience of writing C++ in the Qt framework, C# in WPF or WinForms, and background in engineering or mathematical simulation tool development.
