About Matthew: ​Following the completion of my commercial apprenticeship working with GEC (Electric Motors), my career developed through a range of business development, key account management and sales management positions across engineering sectors in the UK and internationally. Specifically, I enjoyed working within the aerospace and commercial vehicle sectors, supporting manufacturing companies in the UK further develop their market position.

Moving into recruitment and headhunting was not a planned change, however, having the resulting ability to meet and work with candidates and clients across a multitude of environments and countries has been and continues to be really interesting. I really love visiting clients to understand their products, markets and capabilities and it's a privilege to have the opportunity to experience so many different organisations.

Away from work: ​I enjoy my family and motorcycling in particular. I am also a part-time volunteer rider with the Blood Bike Service in support of the UK National Health Service (NHS). I also have a passion for older UK sitcoms and was actually an extra in the last Dad’s Army film.
