Sales Manager - Asset Management (Hybrid)
In support of a Manchester based, yet globally positioned and dynamic Asset Performance Management consultancy firm that specialises in providing software tools and tailored consulting service solutions to businesses looking to optimise their operations and improve their bottom line, we are seeking a NEW Sales Manager to grow further sales across the UK.
Established in the UK in 2014, they have expanded their operations successfully in China and is now growing its UK and European base. Their training courses and services are well known and approved by the Institution of Chemical Engineers.
Recognising that every business is unique, with its own set of challenges and opportunities, the role of Sales Manager is to develop relationships and through a consultative sales approach, take a personalised approach to clients, working closely with them to understand their needs, goals, and priorities.
Working from home, but based out of their office in Manchester, you will be responsible for sales, which will be largely in the UK, but can be overseas. You will engage with customers to determine their needs, identify solutions, and present them with product and service offerings. You will work closely with their marketing team, technical staff, and management to ensure customer satisfaction and growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with potential customers to identify their needs and provide solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and key decision-makers
- Work closely with the marketing team to identify new sales opportunities
- Agree and work to achieve the Company's sales revenue targets
- Make presentations to potential clients, involving our technical team as needed
- Collaborate with technical staff to ensure the successful implementation of solutions
- Attend industry events and conferences to represent our client and their products
REQUIREMENTS
- Have a basic understanding of software and service capabilities within asset management
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a pre-sales or sales role
- Knowledge of operations and maintenance practices, preferably in the process industries
- Have an established list of contacts within the reliability and maintenance field
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with software products such as CMMS and RCM tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific subject would be an asset
- Proven ability to build relationships and close deals
- Being able to work on your own with a strong drive level.

Customer Satisfaction and Service Manager (Midlands)
Reporting to the UK Managing Director and based in the Midlands, through management of the existing Customer and Service Team, the Customer Satisfaction and Service Manager forms a critical and strategic aspect enhancing our clients Customer Service offering in support of their capital equipment manufacture and supply.
The role will require a high level of commercial and technical involvement in continuing to manage and develop a successful aftermarket service. Supplying a first-class service as well as growing revenue streams, this is critical position requires the ability to manage and develop a broad range of customer facing services, grow new business opportunities, provide excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as apply a strong technical knowledge.
The outline responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- The management and further development of a successful UK Service and Spare parts environment as well as leading a team of office and field-based personnel.
- Supporting the sales activity and growth in revenue.
- Promoting 'service as a business' culture.
- Work with other departments across the company to develop new products & services which enhance and support their customer satisfaction goals.
- Develop a stronger culture within the service organisation that is focused on delivering customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement clear and effective processes to ensure that best in class customer support is delivered.
- Report internally as required.
The role will also be directly responsible for the management of Field Service including Installation, Servicing and Breakdown teams and relating co-ordination / Spare parts / Customer Satisfaction / Technical Support.
Ideally degree qualified and with at least 5 years' experience at a similar level in a leading customer service function within technical products and/or services ideally related to capital equipment, you should have excellent leadership and management skills to drive change whilst ensuring that targets and deadlines are met. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making are core to this position.
You should ideally have exposure to capital equipment manufacturing and supply along with relating aftermarket management and engagement.

Our client is a highly recognised motorcycle brand with real heritage in the UK and internationally. In supporting and further developing their position within the UK motorcycle sector, we are seeking a Business Development Lead who will drive retail sales of motorcycles, non-motorcycles and finance, dealer profitability and customer satisfaction across the UK M62 corridor.
Reporting to the Sales and Dealer Development Manager for the UK, you will:
- identify current and future opportunities and through leading by example, coach and working with the management and teams at dealers within the region, develop brand-led initiatives towards process excellence, growth, business improvement and reinforce success
- raise minimum standards of the franchise at dealer level to meet and exceed those set by the Manufacturer
- support onboarding of new dealers and the existing network to achieve or exceed national market penetration of motorcycles, non-motorcycles and finance
Key responsibilities will include: developing each dealer in the area in delivering sales objectives including:
- Motorcycles (model and mix)
- Genuine Motorcycle Accessories (GMA)

Assist dealers in identifying potential growth and creating action plans for improvement in area including:
