We’re thrilled to share that Julian Ball, Recruitment Coordinator at Jonathan Lee Recruitment, will be taking on the world-famous TCS London Marathon in 2026! As the event celebrates its 46th anniversary, Julian will be joining thousands of runners – including colleague and Senior Recruitment Consultant James Tilley – in one of the most iconic charity events on the planet — and he’s doing it to support a cause close to his heart.
Running for Inclusion & Opportunity
Julian has secured his marathon place in support of Phab, an incredible charity that inspires and supports disabled and non-disabled children, young people and adults to make more of life together.
Through inclusive activities, events and residential experiences, Phab helps break down social barriers, build confidence, and reduce isolation — ensuring that people of all abilities can experience the same challenges, adventures, and opportunities side by side.
“I am delighted to have the opportunity to run the London Marathon again. Phab does incredible work bringing people together and creating opportunities for everyone, regardless of ability. If you are able to support me and help raise funds for this amazing charity, it would be hugely appreciated.”
— Julian Ball

A Legendary Race for a Legendary Cause
Since its first race in 1981, the London Marathon has become a global celebration of community spirit, resilience, and fundraising. More than a million people have crossed the finish line on The Mall — raising over a billion pounds for charities along the way.
In 2026, Julian will join this legacy once again — taking on the 26.2-mile route from Blackheath to Buckingham Palace, surrounded by cheering crowds, inspiring stories, and fellow runners making a difference.
