Elite Electronic Systems, A rapidly scaling, private equity-backed electronics manufacturing group is entering a critical phase of growth — and is now seeking to appoint both a Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to help shape its future.
Operating across multiple sites in England, Scotland and Ireland, this Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) business is targeting significant expansion, with a clear ambition to double turnover over the next three to five years.
These are not just leadership roles — they are transformation opportunities.

About the Business
Our client, Elite Electronic Systems, operates within the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) sector, supporting customers across high-reliability industries including aerospace, defence, medical and industrial technology.
With capabilities spanning PCB assembly, electronic systems integration and full product lifecycle support, the business has built a strong reputation within complex, regulated markets.
Now backed by private equity and with a clear growth strategy in place, the organisation is investing in its leadership team to scale both operations and commercial performance.
Why These Roles Matter Now
The business is at a pivotal stage:
- Scaling through organic growth and acquisition
- Expanding across multiple UK and Ireland sites
- Driving toward a £120 million revenue target
To achieve this, two critical leadership functions must evolve in parallel:
- Operational excellence and scalability
- Commercial discipline and revenue growth
This is where the COO and CCO come in.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Driving Operational Excellence
The COO will take full ownership of Group Operations, leading performance across a multi-site manufacturing environment.
This role is about building a high-performing, standardised operational platform capable of supporting rapid growth.

- Leadership of plant managers and core functions (production, engineering, quality, HSE)
- Driving on-time delivery, efficiency and EBITDA improvement
- Implementing KPI-led performance management
- Establishing “gold standard” processes across the Group
- Supporting acquisition integration and scalability
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, ideal for someone who has successfully led multi-site manufacturing operations and understands the demands of scaling in a private equity-backed environment.

- Leadership of all sales teams and pipeline development
- Building a structured, disciplined sales culture
- Ownership of marketing strategy and brand positioning
