About Simon
I am a fully indentured EITB Apprentice, having served my time as a Precision Engineer in the machine tool industry. I continued my education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Design and Technology with Education from Brunel University, followed by an MSc in Advanced Manufacturing at Cranfield University.
As a Chartered Engineer with the IET and CIPD qualified, I bring nearly 30 years of experience in technical recruitment to my role. My specialisation lies in senior management and executive level appointments within the engineering, manufacturing, and technology sectors.
I handle retained and exclusive assignments, focusing on general management, Board-level roles, and highly skilled technical leadership positions.
Away from work
I am a fully qualified Secondary School Teacher and completed my teacher training in inner London teaching at Quintin Kynaston, the same school that “Suggsy” from Madness attended.
I lived and worked in Naples for two years which coincided with the 1990 World Cup (won by Germany).
