Supporting Jersey’s Energy Transformation

The Big Upgrade represents one of the most significant energy infrastructure programmes undertaken in the Channel Islands. Jersey Electricity’s long-term investment will focus on upgrading substations, grid connections, and digital systems across the island to:

  • enhance long-term energy security

  • enable integration of renewable technologies

  • support Jersey’s carbon reduction and sustainability targets

To deliver this, Jersey Electricity is seeking world-class electrical engineers, grid specialists, HV/MV technicians, and renewable energy professionals to strengthen its technical workforce for the next generation of energy projects.
