James has worked within the automotive and off highway division since joining the business in November 2013.

Before joining Jonathan Lee Recruitment, James gained a wealth of engineering sales and account management experience worked for one of the UK’s largest industrial suppliers of engineering products.

This Certification Engineer role encompasses the identification, planning of subsystem verification tasks. The verification approaches to be used and their synthesis into a verification plan, then gathering evidence (from all relevant sources) including design statements, Design Proving activities etc. This evidence will then be assessed and compiled into a compliance matrix leading to a statement of compliance through a Design Certificate. To apply for this position you should have some of the following: An excellent and demonstrable knowledge of product Verification processes and where they fit within the product design cycle. The ability to challenge poor requirements and subsequently agree provable requirement documentation, in collaboration with the design teams Knowledge of: defence, electrical and environmental standards (e.g. Stanag 1008, Def Stan 07-85, Def Stan 59-411, MIL-STD-810); EMC and its implications for subsystem electronics; reliability and safety principles. For this role, we are seeking designers with a significant depth of skills in the areas of Image Processing and Digital Signal Processing Algorithms and safety related design. Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant Up to £27.00 per hour LTD Coventry Automotive - Finance A Finance Assistant opportunity has become available for a leading global automotive manufacturer. Reporting to the Head of Finance, there are 2 primary areas of work - Sales Ledger/Credit Control, and Imports/Exports - as well as providing support to the rest of the finance department. This role would suit an experienced finance assistant who likes variety in their work, or a recently qualified accountant looking for a wide range of experience as their first step out of practice and into industry. Sales Ledger duties include managing the Sales Ledger in Sage200 (raising invoices, posting receipts) and Credit Control (providing backup, chasing invoice approvals in the parent company). Imports/Exports involves controlling import VAT and duties, maintaining the tracker, ensuring the correct paperwork is in place and meeting deadlines. Other areas of support may include, but are not limited to, supporting Purchase Ledger in times of absence, preparing and posting month-end journals, monthly accounts prep and forecasting, supporting the monthly VAT return prep, and due diligence of potential investment opportunities. The Bespoke Electrical Project Engineer role is responsible for the management and delivery of all Electrical component and system development activities across the relevant multi-departmental process-chain to ensure on time introduction and integration into bespoke vehicle content.
