About Marc

I’ve spent almost 20 years helping businesses find the people they need to grow. After studying at the University of Kent, I spent five years in media sales in London before moving to the Midlands, where I moved into recruitment and built my career working with engineering, manufacturing and technology businesses.

More recently, I spent a year working with IT leaders on capability, skills gaps and workforce resilience, giving me additional insight into the workforce challenges facing modern organisations. In my role at Jonathan Lee, I build relationships with engineering, manufacturing and technology businesses, taking the time to understand their challenges and helping them navigate increasingly competitive talent markets.

Away from work

Outside of work, most of my time revolves around football. Whether it’s watching a match on TV, listening to football podcasts, running the line at one of my sons’ games, or making the trip to Selhurst Park to watch the mighty Crystal Palace, it’s fair to say football features heavily in my life.
I also try to stay fit and am a regular runner, although the pace has inevitably started to slow a little these days. I play guitar and still harbour ambitions of becoming a drummer, despite mounting evidence to the contrary.

When I’m not doing any of the above, you’ll probably find me throwing darts. Sadly, that’s also got worse with age, and I currently prop up the table in a fiercely contested mini-league with my 11- and 13-year-old sons.
