We're recruiting an Approved Electrician for a contract position with a fairly immediate start, working as part of an established engineering team delivering high-quality industrial electrical installations on technically demanding projects.
The Role
This is a hands-on role focused on industrial electrical installation and fault-finding, carried out safely and in line with current regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out industrial electrical installations to current standards
- Fault-finding and rectification to minimise disruption on site
- Working collaboratively with site and project teams
- Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements
- Supporting project delivery to agreed deadlines
- Contributing to continuous improvement of site practices
About You
You'll be a qualified Approved Electrician with a practical, professional approach to site work.
You will have:
- Proven experience delivering industrial electrical installations
- Approved Electrician status with relevant electrical qualifications
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a site team

CMM Operator - Goods Inwards / Inspection
Shenstone, Lichfield - Up to £22.50/hr - LTD
Contract Type: 6-month initial contract which could lead to full time employment (£35k-£40k plus healthcare, pension etc)
We are currently seeking a CMM Operator/Inspector to provide additional expertise within our clients Goods Inwards Inspection Laboratory. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation with long-term career prospects and access to further training.
Our client specialises in the design, development and production of high-quality, lightweight rotary engines.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out goods inwards inspection of components and sub-assemblies.
- Perform physical audits of assembled engines prior to shipment to customers.
- Inspect sub-assemblies and individual components to engineering drawings.
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) in line with quality requirements.
- Ensure all inspections are completed accurately and documented correctly.
- All inspection activities will be conducted in-house.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in an inspection or quality role (essential).
- Experience using Mitutoyo CMMs would be a strong advantage but other CMM manufacturers considered
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Familiarity with First Article Inspection requirements
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection tasks
