Sales Representative - Capital Equipment

Our client is a firmly established and privately owned manufacturer and supplier of waste and truck chassis equipment. To support their continued growth in the Central / North England and Scottish territories, they are seeking a home-based Sales Representative to continue the successful management of existing customer and develop new relationships.
This role requires a self-motivated individual who is confident working independently and thrives in a field-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell capital equipment solutions to customers within the waste industry, recycling sector, and established truck dealer networks.
- Conduct high volumes of cold calls and site visits in all weather conditions to generate new leads and secure sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and industry partners.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and demonstrations to negotiation and closing.
- Maintain a disciplined approach to territory management, reporting, and follow-up activities.
- Work independently to meet and exceed sales targets while representing the company with professionalism and integrity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience selling capital equipment or similar high-value products (skip loaders, truck chassis, compactors etc..)
- Strong understanding of the waste industry and/or truck dealer network.
- Comfortable with extensive cold calling and regular fieldwork outdoors.
- Highly disciplined, organised, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work effectively alone with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
In general, the sales activity is targeted on territory growth. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will need to be self-sufficient and not require micro management. Ideally based along the M62 corridor or the NE of England, this position comes with a strong basic salary, car/car allowance and an uncapped commission structure.

Area Sales Manager - Europe
Office based from their manufacturing site in Worcester and reporting to the National Distributor Senior Sales Manager, the Area Sales Manager - Europe supports the continued strategic development of the company's market share penetration across the National Distributor regions including Spain, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Portugal and Greece. The successful candidate would be required to undertake both UK and overseas travel in support of the role.
With a strength of knowledge around machine tool and/or laser machinery industry including technical awareness, the Area Sales Manager - Europe has the following responsibilities:
Account and Distributor Support
- Manage national distributor accounts and provide support through a range of
- communication channels.
- Support national distributors across all commercial and technical activities.
- Maintain and update CRM records for all national distributor accounts.
Sales Strategy and Business Development
- On a 'cradle to grave' customer and sales engagement basis, work with national distributor management to develop sales strategies that deliver strategic targets and strengthen business performance across the assigned territories.
- Visit distributors and end customers to build strong relationships and support order closure.
- Provide quotation support, as well as review and process orders in line with defined procedures.
- Represent the organisation at national and international exhibitions across the territory.
Collaboration, Visits, and Compliance
- Arrange and host distributor and customer visits to the Worcester facilities as required.

What You Will Bring:

- 1-5 years' experience in employee safety, regulatory compliance and/or food safety, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to analyse Food Regulation data and communicate it clearly through official compliance certificates and customer statements.
- Confidence interpreting technical information, answering queries professionally, and working well as part of a small cross-functional team.
- Proficiency in English is essential, with French strongly preferred; strong written and interpersonal skills are key to success.

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in Blackburn, the working hours are 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday (paid 40 hour week), and the role comes with an annual salary of £40,000 p/a.
Job Outline:
This is a hands-on role on the tools, and you will be responsible for maintaining gearboxes, pumps, conveyors and motors, as well as carrying out hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, some basic welding and fabrication work will be required (as or when).
Some administrative work will be required so you MUST be able to use Microsoft Office packages, primarily Word & Excel.
