What You Will Do:

  • Lead end-to-end process mapping across customer experience (CEX) functions and adjacent teams, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project leads to build a comprehensive process inventory and document current and future state processes using AIRS, the company’s business process management tool.
  • Engage with stakeholders across regions, brands, and functions to gather insights, validate process designs, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Define responsibilities and accountabilities for tasks, activities, sign-offs, and decisions within each process, ensuring seamless hand-offs between teams.
  • Support the development of governance artefacts, such as RACI documents, operating model frameworks, and change impact assessments.
  • Contribute to the detailed organisation design and transition planning for the CEX Unity Programme, working closely with programme managers, project managers, and change specialists.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience leading end-to-end process mapping across multiple teams or functions, using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or BPM platforms.
  • Expertise in designing both current-state and future-state processes, particularly within organisation design or transformation programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops with stakeholders across multiple regions, brands or functions to validate process designs.
  • Experience in creating RACI or similar governance artefacts, mapping cross-team handoffs to clarify responsibilities and decision points.
  • A delivery-focused mindset with a collaborative and proactive approach, comfortable managing multiple priorities in evolving environments.

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to take ownership of commissioning activities across the full lifecycle of complex with bespoke engineering projects.

This is a key role responsible for developing and delivering commissioning strategies, leading testing activities, and acting as the commissioning authority across multidisciplinary teams. You will play a critical part in ensuring engineered solutions are tested, verified, and delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project and regulatory requirements.

The Role

As Commissioning Engineer, you will:

  • Develop and implement commissioning strategies for bespoke engineering projects.
  • Produce comprehensive test and commissioning documentation, including:
  • Pressure and proof load testing
  • Control panel inspections
  • Setting-to-work documentation
  • Safe systems of work
  • Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
  • Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
  • Manage handovers between Manufacturing and Commissioning functions.
  • Lead and execute FAT and SAT activities, ensuring risk assessments, test equipment, and temporary commissioning aids are in place.
  • Identify and report non-conformities, supporting structured resolution processes.
  • Ensure commissioning activities are delivered safely, on time, and in line with project scope.
  • Support tendering activities by estimating commissioning scope, hours, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and motivate commissioning and test engineers to achieve project objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

You will bring strong technical credibility combined with practical commissioning leadership experience.

Essential:

  • HNC (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline or higher qualification.
  • Extensive hands-on engineering experience.
  • Experience leading or managing commissioning teams.
  • Broad knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
  • Understanding of relevant British and European Standards (e.g. BS7671).
  • Strong problem-solving ability and adaptability in dynamic project environments.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on site electrical systems and building services.

  • Maintain and fault-find on lighting systems, emergency lighting, power distribution, and small power circuits.

  • Support maintenance of HVAC systems, extraction systems, and associated controls.

Do you have paint spraying experience, wet or powder coating, looking for a long term stable career within Coventry? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company within the defence Industry to recruit a paint sprayer to work an 08:00 - 4:30pm Mon - Thurs with a 3:10pm finsih Friday paying £14.40 per hour. 

 

As a Paint Sprayer, you will manual spray components for the supply to the composites and defence industries. You will work to a production plan as supplied by the Team Leader and will work in teams within a busy production cell.

 

If you were already in this Paint spraying role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

  • Handling manufactured products and prepping for paint line.
  • Products include military helmets and body armour
  • Manually spraying to Nato green standard 
  • Delivery and set up
  • Quality checks and rework if needed 

 

 

To apply for this Paint Spraying role, you will need relevant experience in a similar role. You will also require the following:

  • Experience in wet or powder coat spraying 
  • Experience finishing and assembling components
  • Be able to work an 8 hour Saturday and Sunday shift. 

 

 

You'll receive an excellent contract per hour rate of £14.40 in return for your knowledge, expertise and flexibility.
