Location: Coventry but commutable from Nuneaton, Warwick, Leamington and Rugby. 
Salary: £34,000–£38,000
Shifts: 2- or 3-shift rotational pattern

This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team working Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:30 and Fridays 08:00–15:10, earning £14.40 per hour.

The Role

As a Paint Sprayer, you will manually spray high‑quality components used in the composites and defence industries. Working within a busy production cell, you will follow the daily production plan set by your Team Leader and support the team in meeting output and quality targets. 

Responsibilities Would Include:

  • Preparing and handling manufactured components for the paint line.
  • Spraying products such as military helmets and body armour to strict NATO Green standards.
  • Setting up equipment and delivering workstations ready for production.
  • Carrying out quality checks and completing rework where required.

What You’ll Need

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in wet spray or powder coating within a paint line manufacturing, production environment or Auto bodyshop.
  • Experience in the finishing of assembly components.

This role focuses on improving equipment reliability, automation performance, and predictive maintenance systems within a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.

Telford, UK | Permanent | Double Days | 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement predictive maintenance and condition-based monitoring systems
  • Lead root cause analysis to reduce equipment downtime
  • Support automation, PLC control systems, and manufacturing equipment improvements
  • Use CMMS and maintenance data analytics to drive reliability improvements
  • Lead and support continuous improvement (CI) projects in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to optimise performance

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in automation engineering, reliability engineering, or controls engineering
