About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail oriented Electrical Assembler to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with electrical components, assembling cable looms, and producing high?quality wiring assemblies. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys practical, technical work and takes pride in delivering precise results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical components, cable looms, and wiring modules to specification.
  • Solder components accurately and safely.
  • Cut, strip, and crimp wires using appropriate tools.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
  • Ensure all completed work meets quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Overview

We are seeking an organised and professional Intercompany Sales Coordinator to support the coordination of machine orders, production schedules, and export delivery activities between Mazak branches and internal manufacturing teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer requirements are communicated clearly, delivery deadlines are achieved, and orders progress smoothly from enquiry through to shipment.

You will work closely with EDM, Assistant Buyers, Production, Shipping, and Engineering teams to support on-time delivery, resolve issues, and maintain a consistently high standard of customer service throughout the order management process.

Job Description

  • Act as the primary point of contact between YMX branches and internal production departments
  • Coordinate intercompany sales orders from enquiry through to delivery
  • Liaise closely with EDM and Assistant Buyers to ensure material availability and production planning accuracy
  • Monitor machine order progress and proactively manage delivery schedules
  • Identify and resolve potential delivery risks, escalating issues where necessary
  • Create and maintain MOS’s
  • Maintain accurate order and shipment records using internal systems
  • Create and organise export documentation, including export invoices, to facilitate machine shipments to customer destinations
  • Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders and customers at all times
  • Support continuous improvement within intercompany order management processes

Test Engineer

Our client is seeking a Test Engineer to join their growing engineering team based in Telford. This is an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems working for an established SME who continue to grow.  

You will be supporting projects from factory acceptance testing through to installation and commissioning. As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment meets the highest standards of quality, safety and performance You'll work closely with design engineers, production teams and customers to develop test procedures. Excellent remuneration available for a skilled Test Engineer with in depth knowledge of hydraulic systems and automation and controls.

Salary: up to £60K

Location: Telford, Shropshire

Hours: Days Monday to Friday (Lunch time finish Friday)

Test Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce test documentation for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), customer FATs, installation, commissioning and sea trials
  • Read, interpret and verify hydraulic circuits to develop flushing and pressure testing procedures
  • Interpret electrical schematics and assist with system verification
  • Support the testing and troubleshooting of hydraulic, electrical and control systems
  • Assist with PLC and drive system diagnostics
  • Carry out in-house testing and customer site commissioning
  • Create and update AutoCAD drawings for test layouts and equipment
  • Record and maintain test specifications, serial number registers and technical documentation
  • Analyse and compile test data, identifying opportunities for process improvements

About You

You'll be a practical engineer with strong fault-finding skills and the confidence to work independently as well as part of a wider engineering team with a background in purpose built machinery or heavy production machines and material handling equipment. 

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in assembly, test and validation, testing or commissioning of industrial machinery and heavy machinery
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems
  • Engineering qualifications - mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
  • Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and control systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Based in either Scotland or England, working on behalf of a leading UK independent electrical generation engineering group delivering design, manufacturing, installation, maintenance and service solutions to customers across a broad range of industrial and commercial sectors, we are seeking a NEW Business Development Manager to support their UK and European market expansion with existing and new clients.

As the Business Development Manager for Hydro, you will lead the development and growth of our clients' hydro sector business. This is a strategic key account management role focused on work winning, identifying and securing new opportunities, and positioning the business as a trusted partner across the hydro market.

This position is responsible for developing customer engagement strategies, leading work-winning activities, and driving sustainable revenue growth within existing and new hydro sector accounts. Working closely with operational, technical, and leadership teams, the BDM will play a pivotal role in shaping market presence and delivering long-term business success.

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will:

-    Act as the primary account lead for major hydro clients, building strong, long-term customer relationships and ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.

-    Develop and execute account strategies to drive growth, revenue generation and market share within the hydro sector.

-    Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities, leading the full bid and work-winning process from opportunity through to contract award.

-    Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, including accurate CRM reporting, forecasting and customer intelligence.

-    Monitor market trends, customer investment plans and competitor activity to identify and convert growth opportunities.

-    Promote the full range of company products and services into the hydro and power generation market.

To support this position, you should have the following experience elements:

 WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER- TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE 

Are you an experienced Warehouse Team Leader seeking a new job opportunity, and do you hold a Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift license that is RTITB or ITSSAR accredited and has been refreshed in the last 5 years?

We are seeking 2 Warehouse Team Leaders to join a food manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire. These jobs will be working 4 on 4 off shifts (12 hour days and nights) and the starting salary will be just over £35,000 per annum, increasing to just under £39,500 per annum once fully signed off.

The hiring manager is looking for someone who lives within a 25 mile radius of Telford (Shropshire), previous ERP system experience is also required, experience with SAP or AS400 would be highly desirable but other ERP system experience will be considered.

This will be a 2 stage interview process, with the first stage consisting of a numeracy and literacy assessment on site in Telford.

These roles would be a great fit for someone who has previously worked as a Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Team Leader, Warehouse Lead, Stock Control Team Leader or an Inventory Controller.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, resolving any discrepancies that arise.
