Jonathan Lee Recruitment is working with an organisation specialising in the de-carbonisation and development of energy systems, seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of innovate technical solutions to support energy usage across the UK to reduce carbon levels to meet future net-zero objectives.  

As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage exciting complex de-carbonisation projects that are impactful, fulfilling and often have a positive societal impact.

The role of a Senior Project Manager is critical to the success of the organisations strategic programmes and as such you will be required to:

• Managing R&D Innovation related projects
• Support clients in the realisation and delivery of their innovative ideas 
• Resolve key issues and concerns related to bottlenecks and project slippage to ensure gateways, timing plans and budgets are adhered to and delivered against
• Manage fast-paced and innovative projects from initial concept being adept at dealing with technical requirements while managing expectations  

To apply for this Senior Project Manager role, you will need experience working ideally within the energy or innovation arena having successfully delivered project, with exposure to government funding and grants being a distinct advantage, allied with the following:

• A successful track record in managing R & D/ Innovation type projects
• Ability to pull together cross functional teams and deliver effective communications to support requirements  
• Be an effective problem solver with the ability to unpick problems and bottlenecks to find suitable solutions and compromises within strategic projects
