2 x LOGISTICS TEAM LEADERS NEEDED IN TELFORD (SHROPSHIRE)

Are you an experienced Logistics Team Leader seeking a new job, are you happy working 4 on 4 off shifts and do you hold a Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift license that has been refreshed in the last 5 years?!

We are seeking 2 Logistics Team Leaders to join a long-standing manufacturing business in Telford (Shropshire), previous experience using an ERP system is required, and we are looking for someone who lives within a 20-25 mile radius of Telford (Shropshire).

This will be a 2 stage interview process, the first stage consists of a numeracy and literacy assessment that will take place on site at Telford, and providing that goes well you will then have a 2nd interview on site which will be more indepth and will also include a full factory and warehouse tour.

These roles would be a great fit for someone who has previously worked as a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader, Stock Control Team Leader or an Inventory Controller.

What You Will Do:

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, conducting regular cycle counts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they understand company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and organised warehouse environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Optimise warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues or conflicts.

What You Will Bring:

  • You MUST hold a Counterbalance and/or Reach license accredited by ITSSAR or RTITB and this must be within the last 5 years
  • Your forklift license MUST be an external forklift license (not an in-house license)
  • Previous ERP system experience
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in using IT equipment and systems, with a good level of numeracy.

Overview:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Test Technician to work within our clients R&D team, the role will be heavily involved in testing and development of commercial refrigerated display cabinets.

This is a hands-on role in a dynamic test facility, ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a passion for innovation in refrigeration technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform performance and reliability testing on refrigerated display cabinets.
  • Support prototype builds including brazing, pipework, and system assembly.
  • Apply FGAS certification knowledge to ensure safe refrigerant handling.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve cabinet performance.
  • Follow and interpret industry testing standards (e.g., EN23953).
  • Record and analyse test data, contributing to technical documentation.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment and instrumentation.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in refrigeration engineering, ideally in an R&D or commercial setting.
  • Strong understanding of refrigerated cabinet design and system components.
  • FGAS certified (or equivalent).

  • Familiarity with testing standards and procedures.

Mazak's Spindle Service Centre (SSC) is a dedicated resource that maximises Spindle performance for our customers. The department is looking to invest in capacity to align production with the increased demand for SSC-repaired spindles.

The successful candidate will be part of the Spindle Strip & Wash team based at the PDC site, working together to achieve targets set by the area team leader.

Job Description

The Role

  • Strip down returned broken spindles.
  • Clean parts using approved methods.
  • Test spindle stators to check if they are good to reuse.
  • Inspect stripped parts to determine if they can be reused.
  • Follow health & safety guidelines.
