What You'll Be Doing:

  • Measuring, cutting, and fitting components into vehicles
  • Working from technical drawings and assembly instructions
  • Using hand and power tools including drills and spanners
  • Completing quality and production paperwork
  • Following health and safety procedures
  • Working as part of a skilled production team

What We're Looking For:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, joinery, carpentry, woodworking, or fitting
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience with woodworking equipment, band saws, nail guns, or CNC wood routing machinery would be advantageous
  • Previous vehicle, campervan, commercial vehicle, or automotive fitting experience would be highly desirable

Hours & Benefits:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 5:00pm
  • Friday: 7:00am to 3:00pm
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after probation
  • Internal progression opportunities available

Have you previously worked as a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, Mobile Vehicle Technician, Roadside Mechanic, Mobile Fitter, Mobile HGV Mechanic, Service Engineer or Field Service Engineer, and are you looking for a long term job with development and progression opportunities?!

We are looking for 2 Mobile Vehicle Mechanics to join a well established vehicle conversion manufacturing business in the Halesfield area of Telford, Shropshire, this role will involve you being out on the road installing after market products to vehicles across the country to an excellent standard while providing and excellent customer service, it is ESSENTIAL that you hold a Full UK Driving License.

The working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), the starting hourly pay rate is £14.00 per hour DOE (annual salary just over £33,000 per annum), with future development and progression opportunities available, as well as overtime also being available and paid at T1/2 rate once you've passed a probation period, overnight stays may be required from time to time

Whilst the starting rate is typically £14.00 per hour, should you have any experience in installing the following parts, then the starting rate of pay could increase:

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe workspace.
  • Complete supporting paperwork efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

What You Will Bring:

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Proven experience within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • A proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail.

Service Engineer

We are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer of CNC machine tools. This is a field-based role covering customer sites across the UK, carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of CNC equipment. If you have experience with machine tools and enjoy working directly with customers, this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected engineering business.

What You Will Do

  • Carry out planned maintenance on CNC machine tools.
  • Travel to customer sites across the UK to service, diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Fault find and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime.
  • Provide technical support on machine controls, including Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain.
  • Attend product training to stay up to date with new machines and technologies.

What You Will Bring

  • HNC in Engineering or equivalent, ideally supported by a recognised apprenticeship.

The Role

  • Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to improve quality, productivity, and process capability.
  • Manage tooling requirements and ensure robust manufacturing processes are in place to support production demands.
  • Work collaboratively with production, quality, EHS, suppliers, and customers to deliver engineering solutions.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with industry and customer requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • HNC, HND or Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, and Lean methodologies.
  • Experience delivering engineering projects, process improvements, or CAPEX initiatives.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.
