What You Will Do:

Job Description
Operational Support
- Lead and support the Laser and Press teams with technical expertise and high-level skill set.
- Respond immediately to machine breakdowns and stoppages.
- Carry out predictive, preventative, and reactive maintenance on laser machines and presses.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure optimal performance.
- Keep the Production Supervisor informed of progress and issues.
Process & Quality
- Ensure quality gateways are completed to the highest standard.
- Support weekly power-off plans, including achievement and recovery strategies.
- Drive improvements in standard times and reduce process waste.
- Support root cause investigations for internal and external customer complaints.
Leadership & Training
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to team members.
- Hold daily SQDCP meetings, collating and monitoring KPIs.
- Plan, improve, and record team performance using visualization and effective communication techniques.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase utilization and performance.
- Liaise with supply and customer sections regarding kit and parts availability.

- Setting weekly plans and targets to ensure the team meet the required daily output.

We are looking for 3 Machine Operators to join a leading FMCG manufacturer in Telford (Shropshire), these jobs will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12 hour days and nights 6-6), and the starting salary for these roles will range between £35,000 - £36,300 per annum.
Initially you will be required to complete an on-line SHL assessment, but providing you pass this the hiring manager is then looking to hold an on-site interview and full factory tour which would last for around an hour and a half.
