We’re looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join our clients manufacturing team to support production in tool setting of in injection mould tools. You’ll be responsible for machine setup, process optimisation, troubleshooting and ensuring the consistent production of high-quality plastic components. This is an opportunity to join a prestigious company offering an excellent remuneration package.

Shift: 4 on / 2 off (2 days, 2 nights)

Injection Mould Setter Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate injection moulding machines, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Perform process optimization to maintain production efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot machine and process issues to minimize downtime and improve part quality.
  • Adjust machine parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, etc.) to achieve the best results.
  • Conduct routine quality checks on moulded parts, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of moulds, injection units, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to improve machine performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, mould changes, and machine settings.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure a clean, organized work environment.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Demag, Arburg, Krauss Maffei or Billion machines
  • Strong knowledge of mould setup, processing & fault finding
  • Understanding of plastics materials & drying requirements
  • Familiarity with hot runner systems
  • Robotics/automation experience (desirable)
  • Good mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills

You will have current or recent experience in similar roles such as production technician, injection mould technician, injection moulding setter, injection mould setter, injection moulder, tool setter – moulding or injection mold setter

CNC Miller Setter/Operator

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join our clients growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of CNC milling machines, ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet strict industry specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate 3/4/5 axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls
- Produce complex components from a range of materials, adhering to quality standards
- Collaborate with engineers and other manufacturing personnel to achieve efficient and accurate machining operations
- Attend SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People) meetings to contribute to process improvements
- Ensure production meets planned set and run times and quality requirements
- Communicate any issues or deviations from the planned process
- Assist in maintaining a well-organised and efficient work environment

Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience setting up and operating 3/4/5 axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls
- Proficiency in producing high-complexity components from a variety of materials
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and use various inspection equipment (e.g. micrometers, verniers, plug gauges)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing techniques and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively
- Previous experience in the aerospace industry is desirable, but not essential

Job Title: CNC Turner

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our clients thriving manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various CNC machines, including Victor and Doosan models with Fanuc controls, to produce high-quality parts. Your duties will include setting up fixtures, achieving drawing and stage operation standards, following process and tooling sheets, and selecting the appropriate tools for each component.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines to manufacture parts, ensuring planned production times are met or improved
- Adhere to quality standards and use measurement instruments to check work
- Deburr parts to the required standard using deburring tools
- Maintain route cards and communicate any issues or deviations from the plan
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Ensure the correct materials, route cards, and drawings are used for each job
- Set up tools and offsets ready for operations to commence, and assist other operators as needed
- Maintain on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery of parts to the required schedule

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
- Desirable: Previous experience in the aerospace industry

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Technical Operator, you’ll be responsible for safely running and monitoring chemical processes, including:

  • Monitoring chemical reactions and process parameters
  • Carrying out distillations, separations, transfers, filtrations and powder handling
  • Operating vacuum systems, nitrogen supplies and control panels
  • Adapting to changing processes and plant requirements
  • Working within GMP-controlled areas, following procedures and documentation standards at all times

  • Proven experience as a process or chemical operative, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • A strong health & safety mindset with knowledge of COSHH and risk assessments
  • Comfortable working rotating shifts, including days and nights
  • IOSH Working Safely qualification (preferred)
  • Counterbalance FLT licence (advantageous, not essential)
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above in Maths and English
  • A Level 2 vocational qualification or higher is a bonus

MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER REQUIRED IN TELFORD (SHROPSHIRE)

Are you a Mechanically biased Assembly Operative who is seeking a new job in Telford, and do you have a Full UK Driving License?!

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a leading manufacturer in the Halesfield area of Telford, the starting pay rate is up to £14.00 per hour (DOE) and the working hours are 7am-5pm Mon-Thurs, with a 3pm finish on a Friday (45 hours per week). Overtime is also available and is paid at T1/2 once you've passed a probation period.

The hiring manager would like someone who has some experience within carpentry or joinery, or someone who has previous woodworking / band saw / nail gun experience and may have operated a CNC Wood Routing machine, or similar.

Anyone who has worked with vehicles, camper vans or commercial vehicles previously would be a great fit for this job, alternatively, anyone who has previously worked as a Panel Maker, Joiner, Carpenter, Mechanical Assembler, Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Vehicle Fitter or Vehicle Technician would also be well received.

A Full UK Driving License is an ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT.
