CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PROCESS LEAD NEEDED IN TELFORD (SHROPSHIRE)
Are you an experienced professional within Continuous Improvement, have you previously worked within the manufacturing sector, and are you seeking a new job opportunity within the Shropshire area?!
We are proud to be working with an FMCG manufacturing business in Telford (Shropshire) who are seeking a Continuous Improvement Process Lead to join them on a permanent basis, the working hours for this job are 8am-4pm Monday to Friday (although some flexibility to the working hours would be needed), and the annual salary is up to £45,000 per annum (DOE).
We are looking for someone who is qualified to a minimum of a Six Sigma Green Belt, and can demonstrate a strong background in both Continuous Improvement and following & improving processes within manufacturing.
Previous experience from within the FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging, print or pharmaceutical industry would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
People who have previously worked as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, C.I Engineer, Process Engineer, Process and CI Engineer, Continuous Improvement Specialist, CI Coordinator, CI Lead or Process Lead would be well received.
What You Will Do:
- Champion health and safety standards, creating a culture of zero harm through proactive measures and adherence to procedures.
- Implement and promote the Run to Standards Toolkit to enhance efficiency across production lines.
- Drive process adherence, ensuring centreline settings, SOPs, PFTs, and downtime reporting are fully utilised.
- Coordinate training initiatives, collaborating closely with the training team to ensure compliance and understanding.
- Lead new product development activities, from technical tests to sample preparation.
- Analyse downtime and create actionable plans to deliver process improvements and increase manufacturing output.

- A minimum of 3 years experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
- Minimum of a Six Sigma Green Belt qualification - ESSENTIAL

PRODUCTION SHIFT MANAGER REQUIRED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!!
Are you an experienced Production Shift Manager looking for a new job opportunity, and do you live within a 25 mile radius of Telford (Shropshire)?
We are looking for an experienced Production Shift Manager to join a long standing food manufacturing business in Telford, previous experience within the Food Manufacturing industry would be preferred but is not essential.
The hiring manager is however, looking for someone who a minimum of 5 years Managerial experience and has a proven background in either a Production Manager / Operations Manager/ Shift Manager role, applicants who hold qualifications in either Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Management or Leadership would be well received.
You will initially be responsible for a team up to 30 staff, but this will increase once the company enters it's peak season.
This role will be working 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday (39.5 hours per week), and the role comes with a starting annual salary of £50,000 per annum, with the view of this rising to just under £53,000 per annum once fully signed off.
This will be a 2 stage interview process, with the first stage consisting of a numeracy and literacy assessment on site in Telford, Shropshire.
This job would be a great fit for someone who has previously worked as a Production Manager, Shift Manager, Senior Production Manager, Production Operations Manager or a Manufacturing Manager.

Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake operator to work for our client in Bolton, the role will be responsible for the operation of a press brake machine, including material handling, setting machines to pre-determined parameters, pressing components, packing finished parts, and kitting.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Operate press brake machinery to manufacture door components and related assemblies using carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials as required
- Set up and run machines in line with pre-defined parameters and specifications
- Work in accordance with strict Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), under supervision when required
- Ensure all produced work meets quality standards and passes inspection
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine pressing requirements
- Use overhead crane for material handling safely and effectively
- Unpack incoming materials and repack finished components, including kitting
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe press brake work area (5S standards)
- Comply with all company Health & Safety policies and safe working practices
- Participate in security/background checks if required
- Undertake any additional ad hoc duties appropriate to the role
