FLT COUNTERBALANCE DRIVERS NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!!

Are you an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver seeking a new job opportunity, are you happy working 12 hour shifts and do you hold an ITSSAR or RTITB accredited license that is currently within 3 years?!

We are actively seeking an FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a leading food manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire, this role is a fixed term contract with the company directly and is likely to last until the end of March 2026.

The shift pattern available is as followed:

    • Thursday, Friday & Saturday (and every other Sunday) - (12 hour day shifts) - £12.81 per hour 

You MUST hold an ITSSAR or RTITB accredited forklift license and it MUST be valid and have been taken/refreshed in the last 3 years.

What You Will Do:

  • Operate a Counterbalance truck in line with Health & Safety regulations, ensuring safe manoeuvring in a busy warehouse environment.
  • Move goods from storage areas to loading zones for transport, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Unload deliveries and safely relocate goods to designated storage areas.
  • Conduct regular checks on the forklift truck for faults or damages and escalate issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free warehouse environment, adhering to Health & Safety procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals.

What You Will Bring:

  • Accredited Counterbalance forklift licence from a recognised body such as RTITB, with at least six months of experience operating a Counterbalance forklift truck.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Reliability, with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety and quality standards and procedures.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar.

- Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D/DMAIC problem-solving methodologies to ensure high-quality production and efficient processes.

- Proficient in interpreting complex engineering drawings and GD&T.

- Lean Manufacturing and industrial engineering optimization, including time studies, line balancing. and value stream mapping.

- Good working knowledge of quality standards

MOBILE FITTERS NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!

Due to an increase in orders, we are looking for an additional 3 Mobile Fitters to join a well established vehicle conversion manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire.

This role will involve you being out on the road installing after market products to vehicles across the country to an excellent standard while providing and excellent customer service, it is ESSENTIAL that you hold a Full UK Driving License.

The working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), the starting hourly pay rate is between £13.00 - £13.50 per hour (annual salary around £30K), with future development and progression opportunities available, as well as overtime also being available and paid at premium rate once you've passed a probation period, overnight stays may be required from time to time

Do you have experience working with the Food Manufacturing, Food Packaging or FMCG Industry, and are you looking for a new permanent job?
