We are seeking an organised and assertive Production Supervisor (Sheet Metal).
Job Description
- Setting weekly plans and targets to ensure the team meet the required daily output.
- Report daily on any issues with regards to receiving parts internally and the smooth flow of machines through the area.
- Monitoring and control of budgets.
- Responsibility for the control of risk assessments, staff training plans and SDQCP activities.
- Maintenance and control quality levels promoting high standards throughout the team, ensuring that we continue to complete machines to the highest quality standards.
- Ensuring the communication between departments and sections results in an effective supply and smooth flow of parts.
- Ensuring Yamazaki Mazak Health, Safety and Environmental rules and procedures are implemented, and information within the department is always up to date and available to the staff.
- Promote a positive culture amongst staff by engaging them in health and safety improvements and kaizen initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement activities.
- Drive 5S activity within your team.
- Report and update the sections KPI results.
- Manage and lead a team of technicians and operators.

Essential Criteria
- Proven leader, with deliverables in all key areas: SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & People).
- Can do attitude.
- Experience working within a Supervisory role.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and inspection processes.
- Commitment to maintaining health and safety compliance in the workplace.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions quickly.
- Strong decision-making skills under pressure.
- Experience in planning and scheduling production to meet deadlines.

Have you previously worked within the FMCG sector (Food Manufacturing, Packaging, Print, Plastics or Pharmaceutical), do you have a minimum of 3 years experience in one of these industries and are you looking for a new job to start ASAP?!
We are looking for 3 Technical Operators to join an FMCG manufacturing business in Telford (Shropshire), these positions are all permanent positions from day 1 and the starting salary is just over £34,500 per annum.
You will be required to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12-hour days and nights shifts) and the working hours are 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am (2 days and 2 nights as part of your 4).
The on boarding process would involve you completing an on-line SHL assessment, as well as being invited to the factory for an on site interview and a full factory tour.

We are looking for 3 Machine Operators to join a leading FMCG manufacturer in Telford (Shropshire), these jobs will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12 hour days and nights 6-6), and the starting salary for these roles will range between £35,000 - £36,300 per annum.
Initially you will be required to complete an on-line SHL assessment, but providing you pass this the hiring manager is then looking to hold an on-site interview and full factory tour which would last for around an hour and a half.

Are you an experienced Powder Coater who has previously worked within the Engineering or Manufacturing sector, and do you live within a commutable distance of the Stevenage?
We are looking for a Powder Coater to join a sheet metal fabrication business in Stevenage, the standard working hours are 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), with overtime opportunities available which are paid at T1/2, the annual salary will be range between £29,000 - £31,500 per annum (hourly rate of £14.00 - £15.00 per hour) DOE.
The majority of this role will be powder coating, but you must be prepared to help with other duties on the shop floor as or when required.

Test Engineer
Our client is seeking a Test Engineer to join their growing engineering team based in Telford. This is an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems working for an established SME who continue to grow.
You will be supporting projects from factory acceptance testing through to installation and commissioning. As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment meets the highest standards of quality, safety and performance You'll work closely with design engineers, production teams and customers to develop test procedures. Excellent remuneration available for a skilled Test Engineer with in depth knowledge of hydraulic systems and automation and controls.

Test Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce test documentation for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), customer FATs, installation, commissioning and sea trials
- Read, interpret and verify hydraulic circuits to develop flushing and pressure testing procedures
- Interpret electrical schematics and assist with system verification
- Support the testing and troubleshooting of hydraulic, electrical and control systems
- Assist with PLC and drive system diagnostics
- Carry out in-house testing and customer site commissioning
- Create and update AutoCAD drawings for test layouts and equipment
- Record and maintain test specifications, serial number registers and technical documentation

About You
