MACHINE OPERATOR NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join a well established business in Telford, this job is working day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week) and the starting rate of pay will be between £13.00 - £13.50 per hour (DOE).

The hiring manager would prefer someone who has previously worked on a CNC Wood Router, or has some previous experience working with wood or timber, but this is not essential.

The role can be physically demanding and will involve some heavy lifting when loading and unloading materials off the machine, so we are looking for someone who is prepared to get hands-on whilst also being open to helping in other areas of the business as or when required.

What You Will Do:

  • Operate and set wood routing CNC machines with precision and efficiency.
  • Load raw materials and ensure machines are prepared for smooth operation.
  • Inspect and measure parts post-production to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Work from and interpret technical drawings with accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed records and perform routine maintenance on the machinery.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while completing all supporting paperwork.

CNC ROUTER NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!

Due to an increase in orders, a vacancy has arisen for a CNC Router in a well-established manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire. The CNC Router role comes with a starting hourly rate up to £13.50 per hour (dependant on experience).

The hiring manager is ideally looking for someone who has experience working on a Router, but they would consider someone who has experience working with bandsaws, circular saws or panel saws.

Someone who has previously worked as a CNC Operator, CNC Wood Router, Bandsaw Operator, Panel Maker or Timber Frame Panel Maker would be well received.

As a CNC Router, you will load raw materials and set the machines prior to operation.

What You Will Do:

  • Operate and load raw materials onto wood routing CNC machines with precision and care.
  • Measure, cut, and inspect parts as they come off the machine to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain detailed records to perform regular machine maintenance and ensure optimal performance.
  • Work from and interpret technical drawings to deliver accurate results.

  • Previous Mechanical, fitting and Assembly experience is preferred.
