What You Will Do:

PRODUCTION MANAGER REQUIRED IN SANDBACH, CHESHIRE!!!
Are you an experienced Production Manager or Operations Manager who has previous experience within the Automotive or Fabrication industry, and are you familiar with working to IATF 16949 standards and Global 8D problem solving?!
We are looking for a Production Manager to join a long-standing manufacturer in Sandbach, Cheshire, this role will be working day shifts Monday to Friday (43.5 hours per week), and the role comes with a salary between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE).
The hiring manager is looking for someone who has managed a team of more than 75 staff at one time, they would also like someone who has some experience of working with a CAPEX plan.
This role be working closely with the current Manufacturing Manager, anyone who has previously worked as a Fabricator Welder, or has been involved with Welding & Fabrication and have worked their way up to a Production Manager level would be well received.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and manage production teams, including over 100 operators and team leaders, to deliver operational excellence.
- Develop and implement a robust production plan to achieve On Time in Full (OTIF) deliveries of over 98%.
- Drive Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP) performance metrics, ensuring a culture of zero waste.
- Oversee the introduction of new products and technologies, ensuring safe and efficient processes.
- Utilise tools such as 8D Problem Solving, 5S, OEE, SMED, and TPM to optimise performance and processes.
- Inspire and train team leaders to independently manage day-to-day production activities, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Sheet Metal Workers or Fabricators are required for an international Defence and Weapons Systems Company that is expanding their team. Flexible working arrangements are available for these positions, and they come with Paid Overtime and a Shift Allowance if Shifts are Required.
The Sheet Metal Workers or Fabricators will be part of the Fitting Teams and will report to a Team Leader. The Sheet Metal Workers or Fabricators will be involved in the Fitting, Maintenance and Testing of Structures and Equipment on Large Military and Defence Platforms.

- Understand and follow written and/or oral instructions.
- Have all the basic hand skills, i.e., burning & chamfering of various gauges and types of plate.
- Experienced in the use of Guillotines, rolling machines, drilling machines, folding machines.
- Tack welding (Training/Qualification can be provided).
- Accurate marking off using measuring tools, being familiar with the use of straight edges.
- Use of Spirit levels, set squares, chalk/string lines, plumb bobs, etc.
- Ability to accurately mark out sheet plate/extrusions.
- Correct use of grinders and associated consumables whilst adhering to the HAVS regulations.
- Bending and forming of various gauges and types of plate.
- Understanding of Q.C inspection or process experience.
- Ensure all tools and equipment that are used are suitable, fit for purpose and in date for any inspection required.
- Report all accidents, incidents and near misses via the appropriate reporting tool.
- Experience in fabrication using different materials.
- Be competent in using a wide range of hand tools and equipment.
Key Skills/Experience/Quals Required for Sheet Metal Workers or Fabricators
- Must have completed an NVQ 3 level qualification or apprenticeship.
- Oil and Gas, Marine, Heavy Industry, Rolling Stock is desirable but will look at most trades.
- Able to and knowledge of working in confined spaces & working at height.
- Marine or offshore experience is an advantage.

ROBOT WELDERS NEEDED IN CHESHIRE!!!
Do you have previous experience working as a Robot Welder, or are you someone who has some limited MIG Welding & Fabrication experience who would like to gain more experience within a thriving Engineering business?! The business offers a £2,000 signing on bonus (which is a staggered payment) and they also offer regular overtime opportunities paid at T1/3 after 39 hours, and T1/2 after 48 hours.
The working hours will initially be day shifts Monday to Friday (39 hours per week), but will then move onto a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift Monday to Friday.
An initial hourly rate of between £13.00 - £14.00 per hour will be offered whilst on days, but you will then be offered an hourly rate inclusive of shift allowance once you've moved onto the rotating shift pattern (£15.00 - £17.50 per hour).
We are looking for MIG Welders and Fabricators who have experience with MIG Welding, Spot Welding, Robot Welding or Fabrication and have previous experience working with Mild Steel.
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for the setup and operation of computer-controlled machines/robots to perform one or more machine functions on steel products.
- Measure dimensions of finished product to ensure conformance to customer specifications using measuring equipment, templates, and fixtures.
- Set up jobs whilst robots are in operation, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Work across different shifts, including a rotating shift pattern, to meet production needs.
- Utilise state-of-the-art software for both CAD/CAM & business operating systems from enquiry right through to dispatch.
- Contribute to the team by ensuring all operations are controlled and status updates are accessible at any time.

We are looking for Press Brake Operators who have experience with either AMADA, TRUMPF, Bystronic or Edward Pearson machines and we have several opportunities on the following shift pattern:
- Day shifts Monday to Friday (39 hours per week)
- Permanent morning shifts Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)
- Permanent afternoon shifts Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)
Everyone will initially start on day shifts whilst training and this will mean a slighter lower hourly rate to begin with, but you will have the opportunity to move onto shifts once you've passed a probation period and then you will get a pay increase with shift allowance being added on top of your basic hourly rate.
What You Will Do:
- Set up and operate press machines (Amada and/or Edward Pearson) with precision.
- Execute bend and forming operations using both standard and custom punches.
- Produce parts that are crucial for assembly operations.
- Adhere to quality control protocols by reading technical drawings and conducting checks on produced work.
- Transition smoothly between different shift patterns after completing initial training on day shift.
