MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER REQUIRED IN TELFORD (SHROPSHIRE)

Are you a Mechanically biased Assembly Operative who is seeking a new job in Telford, and do you have a Full UK Driving License?!

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a leading manufacturer in the Halesfield area of Telford, the starting pay rate is up to £13.50 per hour (DOE) and the working hours are 7am-5pm Mon-Thurs, with a 3pm finish on a Friday (45 hours per week). Overtime is also available and is paid at T1/2 once you've passed a probation period.

The hiring manager would like someone who has some experience within carpentry or joinery, or someone who has previous woodworking / band saw / nail gun experience and may have operated a CNC Wood Routing machine, or similar.

Anyone who has worked with vehicles, camper vans or commercial vehicles previously would be a great fit for this job, alternatively, anyone who has previously worked as a Panel Maker, Joiner, Carpenter, Mechanical Assembler, Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Vehicle Fitter or Vehicle Technician would also be well received.

A Full UK Driving License is an ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT.

PRODUCTION OPERATIVE NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!

Do you have any previous experience working with Plastics or PVC, and are you looking for a job that can offer you some future progression and development opportunities?

We are seeking a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in the Halesfield area of Telford, you will be working day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week which includes an early finish on a Friday), and the job comes with a starting pay rate up to £14.00 per hour (dependant on experience). Overtime opportunities are also available and paid at T1/2 premium rate once you've completed a three-month probation.

The hiring manager is looking for someone who has some experience within Plastics or PVC manufacturing, but they are prepared to look at someone who has a good manufacturing background and is keen to learn.

A Full UK Driving License is PREFERRED.

This role would be a good fit for someone who has come from the Injection Moulding / Plastics / Manufacturing industry and has previously worked as a Plastic Welder, Plastic Welding, Plastic Fabrication, PVC Moulding, PVC Trimmer, Assembly Operative or Production Worker.

This is a hands-on role in a dynamic test facility, ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a passion for innovation in refrigeration technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform performance and reliability testing on refrigerated display cabinets.
  • Support prototype builds including brazing, pipework, and system assembly.
  • Apply FGAS certification knowledge to ensure safe refrigerant handling.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve cabinet performance.
  • Follow and interpret industry testing standards (e.g., EN23953).
  • Record and analyse test data, contributing to technical documentation.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment and instrumentation.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in refrigeration engineering, ideally in an R&D or commercial setting.

4 x WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADERS NEEDED IN TELFORD (SHROPSHIRE)

Due to expansion and a new site being acquired, we are seeking 4 Warehouse Team Leaders to join a food manufacturing business in Telford (Shropshire), these jobs will be working 4 on 4 off shifts (12 hour days and nights) and the starting salary will be just over £35,000 per annum, increasing to just under £39,500 per annum once fully signed off.

The hiring manager is looking for someone who holds a Counterbalance forklift license refreshed in the last 3 years and it needs to be either RTITB or ITSSAR accredited, a Reach forklift license would be highly desirable but is not essential.

Previous experience within the food manufacturing / food packaging industry would be preferred, and the hiring manager is looking for someone who lives within a 25 mile radius of Telford (Shropshire).

Previous ERP system experience is also required, experience with SAP or AS400 would be highly desirable but other ERP system experience will be considered.

This will be a 2 stage interview process, with the first stage consisting of a numeracy and literacy assessment on site in Telford, Shropshire.

These roles would be a great fit for someone who has previously worked as a Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Team Leader, Stock Control Team Leader or an Inventory Controller.

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
