Control Panel Design Engineer
Near Leominster, Herefordshire.
Up to £42,000 – Depending on experience.
Our client is a well-established engineering company that designs and manufactures electrical control panels for the process and the waste-water industries. Due to growth, they are seeking a Control Panel Design Engineer to join their existing team. As a Control Panel Design Engineer, you will liaise with clients, gather technical specifications, create electrical designs and manage design projects.
Control Panel Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Liaise with new and existing clients.
- Gather technical specifications for design projects.
- Manage design projects from initial concept through delivery.
- Create detailed electrical designs using EPLAN and AutoCAD.
- Inspect and test control panels
- Provide technical support to clients and the wider engineering teams.
Control Panel Design Engineer Requirements:
- Electrical or electronic engineering qualification.
- Experienced in creating electrical designs using CAD design packages.
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical components, circuits and systems.
- Experience using EPLAN is desirable but not essential.
- Must be a team player.
