Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Buyer to support manufacturing operations through the effective procurement of materials, components, and services used in the production of construction products. The role requires practical experience in a manufacturing environment, strong working knowledge of Sage 200, and an understanding of import and export duties to ensure continuity of supply, cost control, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement & Supplier Management
- Procure materials, components, and subcontracted services
- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers in line with company policies
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, and commercial terms
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery
- Identify and manage supply chain risks
- Manufacturing & Project Support
- Work with Production and Engineering teams on material requirements and specifications
- Ensure materials meet quality, technical, and regulatory standards
- Support project-based and make-to-order procurement
- Manage long-lead and critical-path items
- Systems & Financial Control
- Raise and manage purchase orders and supplier data using Sage 200
- Maintain accurate pricing, stock data, and re-order levels
- Resolve invoice and delivery issues with Finance and Goods Inwards
- Import & Export Compliance
- Manage procurement from UK, EU, and non-EU suppliers
- Ensure correct application of duties, tariffs, VAT, and Incoterms
- Prepare customs documentation and liaise with logistics partners
- Cost Control & Compliance
- Monitor material spend and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and ethical standards
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Buyer experience within a manufacturing environment
- CIPS Level 3 or equivalent
- Experience using Sage 200 or similar MRP Systems
- Knowledge of import/export duties and customs processes
- Experience sourcing construction-related materials
- Strong organisational and negotiation skills
Desirable
- Project-based or make-to-order manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of construction standards (CE / UKCA, BS / EN)
- Understanding of inventory and logistics planning

The Parts Control Team Leader position will lead the Sheet Metal Department Parts Control Team. The team’s primary goal is to support the SMD manufacturing and production section by collaborating closely with internal and external supervisors, as well as the purchasing, planning, and EDM teams. Together, you will ensure that the correct parts arrive at the machine build in a timely manner and proactively address any challenges that could impact the line’s ability to deliver on time to our customers.
Job Description
- This is a hands-on role requiring a strong presence on the shop floor.
- You will work closely with production line staff to support them in achieving 100% on-time power-off dates.
- Ensure kits arrive at the line on time by auditing them for completeness and accuracy.
- Identify internal shortages and agree on corrective action plans with the supply section to keep power-off dates on track.
- Support production teams and quickly resolve part availability issues as they arise.
- Identify root causes of material supply errors and implement corrective actions to improve BOM, MOS, and supply accuracy, reducing future issues.
- Ensure AX transactions are completed correctly to maintain stock accuracy in production, including transfer orders, scrap journals, and works orders.
- Set weekly plans and targets to ensure the team meets required daily output.
- Report daily on any issues related to receiving parts internally.
- Manage risk assessments, staff training plans, and SDQCP activities.
- Maintain and control quality levels, promoting high standards throughout the team.
- Ensure effective communication between departments to maintain smooth machine flow through to the Modular and Assembly area.
- Ensure Yamazaki Mazak Health, Safety, and Environmental rules and procedures are implemented and kept up to date for staff.
- Promote a positive culture by engaging staff in improvements and Kaizen initiatives.
- Drive 5S activities within your team.
- Report and update section KPI results regularly
Essential Criteria for the Parts Control Team Leader
- You’ll be a high-energy, can-do individual who is computer literate, takes full ownership of their work, and is familiar with supply functions including purchasing, stores and logistics.
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of the flow of parts through modular and production section.
- Knowledge of the workings of the Sheet Metal department.
- Proven Leader, with deliverables in all key areas: SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & People)
- Understanding of AX transactions.

Regional Sales Director - EMEA
Working with the oldest supplier of aircraft tyres in the world, we are seeking a Regional Sales Director to support their continued customer engagement and aviation/aerospace sales growth cross the EMEA region.
The Regional Sales Director will report to the Chief Commercial Director and ideally working closely with their head office and manufacturing site in the West Midlands, will lead the EMEA team in selling new tyres and re-tread tyres / products to the aerospace aftermarket.
Working within existing customers, agents and distributors, the role will also have responsibility for developing further business opportunities across the EMEA for civil aircraft / helicopters, and some defence programmes.
Ideally having aircraft tyre awareness, or a strong relating technical and commercial awareness developed within aerospace manufacturing or the aircraft MRO environment with other main products or systems, the Regional Sales Director has the following core responsibilities and duties:
Principal Measures:
- Achievement of annual sales budget for EMEA
- Achievement of annual new business target in EMEA
- Achievement of annual order intake budget in EMEA
In addition:
- Manage and lead the Sales team - mentoring / developing as required
- Ensure that existing customer needs are met and that customer visit schedules are adhered to in order to maintain customer satisfaction
- Develop new business and maintain existing business with aircraft manufacturers, lessors, agents and airlines / MRO companies
- Develop sales growth in accordance with the Company's strategy and its 5-year plan.
- Collation and provision of information to assist with the planning and delivery of the production required to serve the sales budget in respect of customer volumes, part numbers and prices.
- Conduct sales forecasting activities based upon current level of activity, projected activity and previously unidentified opportunities relevant to support the preparation of the company's annual sales budget/forecast - delivery of the annual sales budget which is reviewed throughout the year
- Ensure that customer pricing is implemented in line with Company Strategy
- Manage customer concerns and field operational problems, working closely with operational and engineering teams
- Monitor sales by customer to ensure annual sales plan and forecasts are being met
- Ensure that competitive intelligence is obtained and shared with all stakeholders
- Deliver sales presentations to key customers and sector related events/forums
- Manage overdue payments and income security
- Produce periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed customer base expansion
- Ensure that strategic sales and marketing plans are developed and implemented for assigned accounts to achieve sales goals and contribute to strategic planning
- Analyse and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements in line with annual travel budget
- Where applicable, ensure that local agents/distributors are managed to ensure they are representing our client to local customers in a satisfactory manner - ensuring that agent's agreements are up to date and managed
- Ensure that key customer relationships are developed and maintained and that opportunities are negotiated and closed out - drive business through Long Term Agreements
- Ensure that the company is represented at air shows and aviation conferences
To support the role, you should have a detailed working awareness of the aerospace and aviation sectors, ideally with exposure and knowledge of the EMEA market. Contact awareness is important, but also the ability to develop and manage relationships on a B2C and B2B basis.
A technical and strong commercial acumen is being targeted - including having a modern approach to cost/pricing analysis and CRM activity.
Travel will be required and there is an open consideration that suitable candidates can support this role on a remote working basis in the UK or Western Europe, but factory/office attendance will be required, and commuting costs need to be realistic.
This is an exciting growth focused role and knowledge of 737 platforms would be ideal. However, awareness of small to mid-sized commercial aircraft would be beneficial, along with helicopters and smaller defence aircraft where possible. Direct tyre knowledge is NOT essential.

Commissioning Engineer – Worcester

Our client is a specialist engineering systems provider for a multitude of industry sectors including aerospace and automotive. As a Commissioning Engineer your focus will be travelling to sites, providing technical support, installing and commissioning highly technical equipment.
Commissioning Engineer Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed electrical designs that meet the client's requirements.
- Installing hardware and software on sites.
- Managing commissioning projects through to customer sign off.
- Calibrate and configure PLCs.
- Fault find and troubleshoot technical issues if they occur.
- Provide technical support and guidance regarding the equipment.
Commissioning Engineer Requirements:
- Must possess a solid understanding of controls.
- Experience of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC Commissioning.
