Tool Room Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tool Room Technician to support tool room operations within our manufacturing facility. You will play a key role in ensuring tools and equipment are maintained, repaired, and readily available to keep production running smoothly. 

Shift fixed day shift 7am – 4pm. 37 hours

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance and inspections on machining, cutting, and precision measuring tools.
  • Diagnose and repair tool and equipment faults to minimise downtime.
  • Assist with tool calibration to maintain quality standards.
  • Maintain tool inventory records, including spare parts and consumables.
  • Support tool assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and organisation.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to support operational efficiency.

About You

  • Previous tool room or tool maintenance
  • Trained as tool maker or qualified in engineering related to machining or tool making
  • Conventional machining, manual milling, grinding or turning
  • Injection moulding experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical tools and precision instruments.
  • Confident using hand and power tools.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and safety-focused.
  • A team player with good communication skills and willingness to learn.

You will have current or recent experience working as tool maker, toolmaker, tool making, jig tool and die maintenance, conventional machinist

Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our clients team, providing a comprehensive maintenance service across our Manufacturing & Distribution sites. You will play a key role in ensuring production equipment runs reliably and efficiently to meet business targets. Available is a competitive salary, excellent overall earning capability with paid bonus and regular overtime.

Shift pattern

4 on 4 off (2 days, 7am-7pm, 2 nights 7pm-7am)

Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns.
  • Perform preventative and routine maintenance on injection moulding machines.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults.
  • Fault-find on PLCs and automated systems, including robotics.
  • Complete planned maintenance (PPM) and TPM activities.
  • Support equipment installation, relocation, and refurbishment projects.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is carried out safely.

About You

  • Qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Experience in injection moulding maintenance preferred.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and PLCs.
  • Flexible to work shifts and respond to breakdowns.

 You will have current or recent experience as maintenance engineer, maintenance technician, multi-skilled engineer, multi-skilled maintenance engineer, mechanical maintenance engineer, technician, mechanical fitter, electrical or shift engineer, electrical maintenance engineer or service engineer

Industry experience needs to be injection moulding, plastic injection moulding, injection mould processing, trade injection mould or injection mold or diecasting

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years. Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with a solid background in electrical control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, troubleshooting and optimising machine tool electrical retrofits. A strong understanding of electrical systems, automation processes, and relevant standards is essential for this role. The work is carried out in close liaison with Mechanical and PLC Engineers.

Job Description

  • Develop, test and maintain electrical systems for new and existing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical systems and associated control panels
  • Design, install and commission electrical systems for Mazak machines and automation equipment
  • Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Ensure all systems meet electrical standards and safety regulations (eg. IEC, NEC, CE)
  • Provide regular maintenance and support for machine tool electrical systems and electrical control systems
  • Perform system testing, calibration and validation to ensure optimal performance
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics and operational procedures
  • Ensure that all electrical installations comply with relevant health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with safety teams to implement machine safety systems and ensure compliance with ISO and other safety standards
  • Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and control issues across the site.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, automation or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • A minimum 3-5 years' experience in electrical design and troubleshooting, with a strong experience in designing, implementing and maintaining of electrical control systems.
  • Technical knowledge of electrical control systems, including panel wiring, motor control and power distribution.
  • Familiarity with IEC, NEC and other relevant electrical standards.
  • Hands on experience with automation and control systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of other Mitsubishi electrical systems.

Desirable Criteria

  • Basic understanding of PLCs
  • Zuken / E3 or similar software experience
  • Knowledge of PLM systems such as Windchill
  • Strong problem solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Electrical certifications (eg. 18 th Edition, CompEx or equivalent) are highly desirable

We’re looking for a Senior IT Support Analyst to join a busy MSP environment, supporting a wide range of customers across Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID), and hybrid on-prem infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role covering escalated tickets, problem management, and project delivery. You’ll be working with modern tooling, supporting both reactive incidents and proactive improvements, including migrations, security, and endpoint management.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing Tier 2 support across Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune)
  • Supporting on-prem Active Directory and Exchange Server, including hybrid Exchange and AAD Connect
  • Managing Azure AD / Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, and identity security
  • Deploying and managing endpoints using Intune and Autopilot
  • Implementing and supporting Defender for Business, device compliance, and security policies
  • Assisting with customer migrations (Exchange, file servers, hybrid AD to cloud)
  • Using Kaseya RMM for monitoring, patching, automation, and remote support
  • Troubleshooting networking and connectivity issues (DNS, DHCP, VPN, NAT, VOIP)
  • Supporting cloud telephony and unified communications solutions (Teams Voice, Horizon – beneficial)
  • Maintaining clear documentation and accurate ticket updates while working to SLAs

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in an MSP or multi-customer support environment
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Windows 10/11
  • Experience with on-prem AD and Exchange Server (2016/2019 preferred)
  • Confident with Intune, compliance policies, and application deployment
  • Good working knowledge of Conditional Access, MFA, Defender, BitLocker
