A large food manufacturer are seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer to join their team. What You Will Do:
- Carry out maintenance work according to the schedule and complete effective corrective actions when issues arise.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns in the designated area, helping identify root causes and suggesting improvements to reduce repeat downtime.
- Communicate unscheduled downtime to the Engineering Shift Manager / Principal Engineer and work closely with operations to keep disruption to a minimum.
- Follow engineering standards and strict hygiene practices to support safe, reliable production.
- Maintain a safe working environment by escalating Health and Safety, Animal Welfare and Environmental concerns promptly.
- Support inspections, measurements, routine parts replacement and raise stock and non-stock request forms when needed.
What You Will Bring:
- Machine minder or technical operator experience, or a genuine willingness to learn quickly in an engineering setting.
- A positive, self-motivated attitude with confidence working to timelines in a dynamic factory environment.

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Telford. This role involves maintaining production equipment, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime.

The Role
- Respond to mechanical breakdowns and complete repairs.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

The Role
