Account Manager

Up to £40,000 basic salary plus strong progression potential

As Account Manager, you’ll lead a defined distributor network, build influential relationships, and spot opportunities that push your area beyond target. Duties

  • Manage and develop key distributor accounts, ensuring consistent communication, service and growth
  • Identify new distributor opportunities and convert them into long-term partnerships
  • Monitor sales performance, trends and risks, taking action to keep your area on target
  • Support pricing decisions, margin management and commercial proposals
  • Introduce new products and promotional activity to drive further revenue
  • Coach and guide telesales advisors, improving customer engagement and consistency
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order flow and strong customer experience
  • Act as a senior point of contact for commercial or customer issues requiring escalation

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management or sales with a track record of hitting targets
  • Confidence building strong commercial relationships with key customers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends and act on growth opportunities
  • Experience leading or mentoring others to improve performance
  • Proactive, organised, and able to take ownership of a dynamic sales area
  • CRM experience and solid commercial awareness
