Injection Moulding Setter

Monday to Friday – 3 rotating shift patterns.
Our client is a well-established manufacturer of custom plastic products. As an Injection Moulding Setter, you will be responsible for preparing materials, carry out tool changes and set & operate injection moulding machinery.
Injection Moulding Setter Responsibilities:
- Preparing materials ahead of production
- Carry out injection moulding tool changes
- Set and operate injection moulding machinery throughout the shift
- Carry out all start up procedures for all machinery
- Quality check and ensure that products meet client specifications
- Clean and maintain equipment & production machinery
Injection Moulding Setter Requirements:
- Previous experience working as an Injection Moulding Setter
- Must be able to work a rotational shift pattern
- Experienced in carrying out tool changes and start up procedures for all machinery
- Experienced in problem-solving related issues within production
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to work to engineering drawings.

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of custom plastic products. As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining and repairing injection mould tools.
Toolmaker Responsibilities:
- Create, repair and maintain injection mould tools
- Working to engineering and technical drawings
- Design and manufacture jigs & fixtures
- Manage tooling processes in line with industry & company standards
- Using bench hand tools and Tool Room machinery
Toolmaker Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a Toolmaker or equivalent position
- Proven experience in setting and operating tool making machinery
- Knowledge of Injection Mould Tooling is essential
- Experienced in problem-solving tooling related issues within production
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to work to engineering drawings.

Job Description
Field-based role travelling to customer sites to service Mazak machines as part of planned maintenance. Duties include fault diagnosis, machine alignment checks, and general servicing.

Essential Criteria
- Electrical or mechanical experience
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
- Basic programme experience (Mazak / Siemens / Heidenhain)

Position Overview
The Infotainment Engineering function focuses on problem solving, data capture, and requirements validation across complex infotainment systems. You will work across multiple stakeholders and suppliers to support issue resolution, ensure system integrity, and help drive programme delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing system requirements to ensure intended functionality has been delivered, identifying and flagging deviations
- Capturing and analysing critical diagnostic data to support triage and problem solving (DLT, Wireshark, VLAN, CAN logs, SOME/IP, etc.)
- Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Supporting investigations into critical and showstopper issues to mitigate programme delays
- Collaborating with triage teams to resolve complex issues across multiple infotainment layers
- Applying structured problem-solving techniques and industry best practice to drive efficient resolution
- Acting as a key interface with Product Owners, facilitating cross-team delivery and issue resolution
This is a dynamic environment with regular ad-hoc requests. Flexibility and willingness to work beyond defined responsibilities will be required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong ability to capture and interpret Wireshark, VLAN, DLT, CAN, and SOME/IP logs
- Experience using structured problem-solving methodologies (5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa, Six Sigma tools)
- Familiarity with Snapshot and Corvus tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Education
- BEng in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- Green Belt Six Sigma Certification (or equivalent)
