What You Will Do:

 

- Design, develop, and maintain embedded control systems for audio products.

- Assist in implementing new and evolving hardware platforms.

- Build, test, and release firmware for pioneering audio products.

- Collaborate within the Software Team to expand and enhance a multi-platform software ecosystem.

- Integrate new peripheral subsystems, including USB, SPI, and I2C.

- Devise and execute pre-release test procedures for both hardware and software products.

 

What You Will Bring:

 

- Proven knowledge and experience with Embedded C and hardware debugging tools.

- Familiarity with Git and command-line tools.

- Ability to write clean, accurate, and reusable code.

- Minimum of two years' experience in a commercial software development environment.

- Strong communication skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.

Multiple Liaison Officers (LO-ISR) are required within the European Union to join and organisation that work with national security partners across the globe and mission zones. The Liaison Officers (LO-ISR) may be involved with land, sea and airborne ISR, electronic warfare, secure communications, special mission, aerial firefighting, and advanced simulations.

Headquartered in the states our client has facilities across the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and beyond. The client is responsible for developing and delivering Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), Special Mobility, fleet maintenance, regulatory compliance, and strategic partnerships to enhance mission effectiveness across operational environments.

The Liaison Officers (LO-ISR) will serve as the primary operational interface between the client, deployed ISR teams, and Leadership, ensuring effective coordination, accurate intelligence product delivery, and consistent situational awareness. The Liaison Officers (LO-ISR) role ensures that ISR data is processed, exploited, and disseminated in accordance with client requirements and internal standards, enabling timely, actionable intelligence delivery.

The Liaison Officers (LO-ISR) Roles and responsibilities

  • PED Management & ISR Data Oversight Interfacing with Sensor Operators and analysts.
  • Lead and coordinate the full Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED).
  • Ensure timely, accurate transformation of ISR sensor data into actionable intelligence.
  • Monitor data feeds and mission outputs to ensure alignment with operational objectives.
  • Conduct quality checks on ISR-derived products prior to client dissemination.
  • Mission Coordination, Real-Time Communications and Client & Stakeholder Liaison.
  • Maintain real-time communication with deployed personnel, relaying re-tasking.
  • Participate in pre-mission briefings to ensure clarity on tasking, objectives, and reporting.
  • Serve as the operational voice of the client ensuring responsiveness and mission flexibility.
  • Deliver timely post-mission summaries to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare mission-specific reports, key intelligence insights and Serve as primary client P.O.C.
  • Document, track, and escalate client feedback to operational teams.
  • Maintain and update client-facing SOPs, operational documentation and reporting templates.
  • Participate in after-action reviews and lessons-learned processes.
  • Represent company interests professionally in all client interactions, managing expectations.
  • Report any breaches, complaints, or discrepancies via correct internal/external channels.

The Liaison Officers (LO-ISR) Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Strong operational understanding of ISR mission structures, PED workflows, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in high-tempo, client-facing operational environments.
  • Good communication skills, including operational decision-making and coordination.
  • Familiarity with ISR systems, data-handling protocols, and intelligence product formats.
  • Proven ability to manage complex information flows and maintain situational awareness.
  • Experience working remotely with distributed or multinational operational teams.
  • Frequent travel on a Rotational Basis will be required to cover Onsite Duties.

You will act as the go-to person for technical issues, ensuring smooth operations, high-quality output, and continuous improvement. Job Description

 Operational Support

  • Lead and support the Laser and Press teams with technical expertise and high-level skill set.
  • Respond immediately to machine breakdowns and stoppages.
  • Carry out predictive, preventative, and reactive maintenance on laser machines and presses.
  • Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure optimal performance.
  • Keep the Production Supervisor informed of progress and issues.

Process & Quality

  • Ensure quality gateways are completed to the highest standard.
  • Support weekly power-off plans, including achievement and recovery strategies.
  • Drive improvements in standard times and reduce process waste.
  • Support root cause investigations for internal and external customer complaints.

Leadership & Training

  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to team members.
  • Hold daily SQDCP meetings, collating and monitoring KPIs.
  • Plan, improve, and record team performance using visualization and effective communication techniques.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase utilization and performance.
  • Liaise with supply and customer sections regarding kit and parts availability.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure schedules are met.

Health & Safety

  • Report and monitor general Health & Safety issues within the area.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standard.

Person Specification

  • Strong technical knowledge of laser machines (fibre laser experience advantageous) and press operations.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Good computer literacy and competent in Microsoft AX.
  • Determination to achieve schedules and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to learn new processes quickly and work under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including fault finding and diagnosis.
  • Commitment to quality and safety.

Desirable Criteria

  • Proactive and hands-on approach.

  • ILM Level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards (training provided).

Resident Engineer - Darlington

We are recruiting for a Resident Engineer to be based full-time at a major manufacturing facility in Darlington. Working as part of a small on-site engineering team, you will be responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, calibration and fault diagnosis of specialist test and measurement equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and reliable operation.

This is a hands-on role focused on routine electrical servicing, preventative maintenance and technical support. You will act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day equipment issues whilst working closely with specialist engineers who provide additional support when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line fault finding and diagnosis on specialist test and measurement equipment.
  • Carry out routine electrical servicing, maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Complete maintenance, calibration and service documentation accurately and on time.
  • Issue calibration certificates and associated reports where required.
  • Plan and manage scheduled maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Maintain detailed service records and technical reports.
  • Escalate technical issues through internal support systems when necessary.
  • Build effective working relationships with customer personnel and engineering colleagues.
