What You Will Do:

- Strong understanding of GD&T, significant/critical characteristics, and quality-focused problem-solving methods such as 8D, FMEA, or similar.

- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as diecasting, injection moulding, machining, pressing, stamping, and painting, including manufacturability considerations.

- Experience with CATIA or equivalent CAD packages, plus practical familiarity with tooling design considerations and mould flow analysis.

- Confidence communicating technical issues clearly to stakeholders and taking full ownership of deliverables as a Tooling Design Engineer.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

-          Fault find, repair and calibrate production machinery.

-          Ensure that production downtime is kept to a minimum.

-          Provide technical support to the production team and the wider engineering team.

-          Fault find and repair PLCs.

  • This is a hands-on role suited to a mechanically skilled technician who has experience working with precision mechanical assemblies, engineering drawings, high-accuracy measurement equipment and complex machinery including breakdown, repairs and troubleshooting.

The Role
