Job Description
- Setting & operating 4 & 5 axis machining centres.
- Producing a wide & varied range of highly toleranced parts which are used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
- Understand Mazak CNC controls & offer improvement ideas to the role.
- Work within a team of fellow engineers to strict health & safety guidelines & rules.
- Play your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H&S improvements & kaizen initiatives.
Essential Criteria
- Have an understanding of milling/machining centre machines.
- Have experience & can safely set & operate automated CNC loaded machine tools.
- Have experience with cutting tools, fixtures & measuring equipment.
- Have a can-do attitude.
- Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
Desirable Criteria
- Can edit & alter programs,
- Would have served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship.

Sales Marketing Lead – Machine Tools
Our client is a global manufacturer of capital machine tool equipment and with continued growth in their UK and European markets, they are seeking a Sales Marketing Lead to support the UK Sales Team activity and growth.
Office based at the Group HQ in Worcester and working alongside an existing and established sales organisation, this position requires a combination of modern marketing expertise and where possible, technical expertise within the CNC machine tooling market or a similar technical environment.
The role will create direct sales strategies, develop effective promotion campaigns and identify new opportunities for business growth. You will play a key role in supporting and guiding the UK sales force. This focused role is designed to develop modern strategic activity with both new and existing UK customers. It combines technical and market knowledge providing a clear direction as well as promoting our client's established brand further across the UK and Ireland. Ideally you will be highly versed in using modern marketing / social media tools to support market engagement.
This role is ideal for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with a strong foundation in engineering and marketing, preferably with the sale of capital equipment or machining/manufacturing.
Reporting to the UK General Sales Managers and UK Sales Director, the responsibilities will be as follows:
• Develop and implement strategic sales and business development initiatives
• Support the UK Sales Team by providing insights, tools and competitor technical knowledge
• Collaborate closely with European sister company counterparts to align campaigns and share success stories
• Identify and analyse market trends, customer needs and competitive positioning
• Identify industry sectors with tailored campaigns
• Contribute to the continuous development of sales processes and performance
• Work with lost/cancelled order data to refine future campaigns and targeted mailshots
• Create bespoke and focuses stocked mailshots tailored to specific customer segments
• Target OEM customer relations to drive standardisation and outreach consistency
• Match machine capabilities to potential new customers
In addition:
• Review and monitor business and social media tools and industry articles for leads and intelligence
• Manage lead generation from the company website
• Ensure full communication across the sales teams
• Attend trade shows/events and network with potential new clients along with monitoring the competition
Person Specification
Essential criteria:
• Minimum 3 years sales experience in relating sales, business development or public relations role
• Highly experienced around the use of modern media tools and activities.
• Ability to think strategically
• Confident in using CRM tools to drive direction and communication
• Work comfortably in a commercial and technical environment
• Motivated / self-starter and have excellent communication skills
• Strong expertise with digital platforms
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing sectors
• Good understanding of the machine tool market
• Experience in engineering and automation
• Experience in CNC machine tools
• Have a recognised engineering qualification

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join our dynamic technical team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of customer components.
As an Injection Moulding Setter, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the Material Logistics Controllers to ensure the proper preparation and cleaning of raw materials and equipment.
- Efficiently setting up and adjusting injection moulding machines, robotics, and ancillary equipment to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Undertaking tool changes, second operation set-ups, and clean-downs as required, adhering to established procedures and timeframes.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving processing issues, such as delamination, splash, flash, rippling, distortion, and dimensional intolerance.
- Submitting successful first-off samples and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the production process.
- Performing routine maintenance on injection moulding machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Actively participating in production improvement projects and sharing knowledge with the team.
- Serving as a key holder and emergency team member, ensuring the safe and timely operation of the facility.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience as an Injection Moulding Setter, with a proven track record of problem-solving and optimising production.
- Proficiency in setting up and troubleshooting automation, including sprue pickers, sprue cutters, and robot hands.
- Familiarity with working with technical-grade polymers, such as Acetal, ABS, Polypropylene, Nylons, and Grivory.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, and MRP systems.
- A commitment to working in a structured, process-oriented environment and adhering to ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- A flexible approach to working rotating 3 shifts, including night work. The hours are 5.45am-2pm / 1.45pm-10pm / 9.45pm-6am.
