MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER NEEDED IN BLACKBURN!!
Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Mechanical Maintenance Technician seeking a job opportunity, and you looking for a permanent day shift and can you get to Blackburn?!
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in Blackburn, the working hours are 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday (paid 40 hour week), and the role comes with an annual salary of £40,000 p/a.
The hiring manager would prefer someone who has completed an Engineering apprenticeship or someone who is qualified to an NVQ Level 3, but they will consider a time-served Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who has the hands-on experience without the formal qualifications.
This is a hands-on role very much on the tools, and you will be responsible for maintaining gearboxes, pumps, conveyors and motors, as well as carrying out hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, some basic welding and fabrication work will be required (as or when).
Some administrative work will be required so you MUST be able to use Microsoft Office packages, primarily Word & Excel.
The hiring manager would ideally like to do a 2 stage interview for this role, with both stages preferably taking place on site.
What You Will Do:
- Ensure equipment is operated and maintained in a safe and reliable condition.
- Conduct effective risk assessments to promote safety for yourself and your team.
- Repair and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.
- Analyse data to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
- Manage projects within agreed budgets and time lines, ensuring quality results.
What You Will Bring:
- You will have either completed an Engineering apprenticeship (or be qualified to an NVQ Level 3 minimum), or be a time-served Engineer with relevant Mechanical Engineering experience - ESSENTIAL

- Knowledge/experience of non-woven manufacturing and technology (or related field) - Preferred

We are looking for an experienced Stores Person to join a leading family run business in Market Drayton (Shropshire), the working hours are 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday (40 hour week), the starting salary for this role is paying around £33,000 per annum (hourly rate around £16.00 per hour), with the opportunity to progress to an annual salary around £37,500 per annum (hourly rate of £18.00 per hour).
Previous experience within the Automotive / Commercial Vehicles / Automotive Dealership industry would be highly advantageous, but other industry experience will be considered.
We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 3 years experience within a similar role, and this role can offer a clear progression path for you to become the Stores / Parts Manager.
The hiring manager would look at someone who already have previous supervisory / management experience, but they are prepared to look at someone who has a proven background in Stores (without the managerial experience), with the view of you training and becoming a manager in the future.

Responsible for leading all sales efforts and bids within the Hydro power market and supporting the lifecycle of contracts, based in the UK and travelling as required, the Head of Sales with have the following core responsibilities:
- Lead market analysis and strategy for the hydro power market
