The Opportunity

Operating within a modern inspection laboratory, you'll play a key role in ensuring precision components and assemblies meet the highest quality standards before progressing through production and prior to customer delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out goods inwards inspection of precision components and sub-assemblies.
- Programme and operate Mitutoyo CMM equipment (MCOSMOS experience desirable).
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) in line with customer and quality requirements.
- Inspect components against engineering drawings and specifications.
- Complete final inspection and physical audits of assembled products prior to dispatch.
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality documentation.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve non-conformances and maintain high quality standards.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Quality Inspection or CMM Inspection role.
- Experience programming and operating CMM equipment.
- Mitutoyo MCOSMOS experience would be highly advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience carrying out First Article Inspection (FAI).
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a quality-focused engineering environment.

PRODUCTION OPERATIVE NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!
Do you have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment, are you looking for a job that could lead to a full time contract, and are you able to get to Hortonwood?!
We are seeking a Production Operative for a well established manufacturing business based in the Hortonwood area of Telford, Shropshire, the working hours for this job will initially be day shifts (7.45am – 4.15pm Monday to Thursday , 8.00am – 1.00pm Friday) - 37 hours per week, but after a 12 week probation period you will move onto a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift pattern Monday to Friday.
The starting rate of pay is £13.10 per hour whilst working on day shifts, but once you move onto a permanent contract and the rotating shift pattern, your pay rate will increase to £15.74 per hour (which includes a shift allowance), with the top end pay rate being £16.18 per hour once you are fully trained and signed off as a competent operator.
Previous experience from within the aerospace, automotive or electronics industry would be well received.
What You Will Do:
- Checking and cleaning parts before they are loaded onto the lamination machine
- Verify components against technical drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Monitor machine performance and address any operational concerns.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing department to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure all components meet customer standards before progressing to the next production phase.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company procedures
What You Will Bring:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Familiarity with sheet metal, stainless steel, or aluminium is desirable.

In support of their continued development of existing and future aerospace, energy and medical customers, working from a remote home basis in the UK, this position of European Senior Business Development Manager is focused on customer and market engagement along with business growth, primarily targeting the OE, Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels.
The European Senior Business Development Manager's responsibilities include:
- Supporting our client's further development of core relationships within the UK and European aerospace, energy (IGT) and medical sectors; with an emphasis on developing suitable aerospace clients in particular.

We are seeking an experienced operational leader to join our Energy Division as a Service Delivery & Resource Manager, leading workforce planning and operational resource coordination across our electricity distribution and utility services network.
This is a key leadership opportunity within a critical infrastructure environment, responsible for ensuring the effective deployment of operational teams supporting construction, metering, maintenance, network operations and customer service delivery across Jersey’s electricity distribution network.
You will play a central role in supporting the delivery of essential utility services across a network that includes substations, distribution infrastructure, underground cable systems and more than 55,000 service and metering points.
We are looking for a highly organised and commercially aware manager with strong experience in utilities operations, field workforce planning, operational service delivery or infrastructure resource management.
