We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Engineer / Project Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone early in their projects career who is looking to develop hands-on experience within an engineering and manufacturing environment, particularly plastic injection moulding.
You will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering projects, working closely with senior engineers, production teams, suppliers, and customers. This is a great opportunity to build strong project management skills while gaining exposure to real-world manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities

Support the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and documentation

Coordinate day-to-day project activities to ensure tasks are completed on time and to specification

Act as a communication link between engineering, production, quality, suppliers, and customers

Assist with preparation of technical documentation, reports, and progress updates

Track project milestones, actions, and risks, escalating issues where necessary

Support procurement activities, including coordinating materials, tooling, and resources

Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and post-project reviews

Gain exposure to plastic injection moulding processes, tooling, and manufacturing workflows

The business is currently expanding, with new production lines being installed, and is looking for dedicated engineers to support ongoing maintenance as well as assist with commissioning and building the new line.
Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 + Shift Allowance, Bonus & Benefits

What You Will Do:
- Collaborate on the planning, construction, and commissioning of machinery for a new production line during the pre-production phase.
- Conduct testing and fault-finding on mechanical parts of the production line to ensure optimal functionality.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting to support efficient production operations.
- Analyse production data and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, minimise waste, and maintain product quality.
- Assist in training staff on new equipment and processes, ensuring smooth transitions and high standards of operation.
- Maintain clear communication with opposite shifts regarding maintenance updates and use the in-house system to record work performed and track spare parts.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Operator to join our clients manufacturing team in West Bromwich. If you’re used to working in a chemical or process environment, take pride in safe working, and enjoy being hands-on with complex plant operations, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Technical Operator, you’ll be responsible for safely running and monitoring chemical processes, including:
- Monitoring chemical reactions and process parameters
- Carrying out distillations, separations, transfers, filtrations and powder handling
- Operating vacuum systems, nitrogen supplies and control panels
- Adapting to changing processes and plant requirements
- Working within GMP-controlled areas, following procedures and documentation standards at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a process or chemical operative, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- A strong health & safety mindset with knowledge of COSHH and risk assessments
- Comfortable working rotating shifts, including days and nights
- IOSH Working Safely qualification (preferred)
- Counterbalance FLT licence (advantageous, not essential)
- GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above in Maths and English
- A Level 2 vocational qualification or higher is a bonus

A Wheel Designer is required to join a truly remarkable company who is an exclusive and prestigious luxury vehicle modifier for the UK and global markets. The Wheel Designer will be joining an established Design Team and will be working on several fantastic new exciting projects for exclusive brands. The company is a true end to end UK manufacturer ‘one of a kind’ in the aftermarket sector with a design focus that has always been 'OEM Plus' appealing to a customer base looking to achieve a little more individuality with their vehicle with premium components, while remaining respectful to the original designs of the manufacturer.
Our client is looking for an experienced Wheel Designer to work on high-end bespoke alloy wheel projects, to support the design, development and production delivery of their bespoke alloy wheels. Working closely with the Design and Manufacturing teams, you will be responsible for creating production-ready CAD models for alloy wheels, ensuring they meet aesthetic intent, structural requirements and manufacturing constraints. This role requires a strong understanding of wheel construction, manufacturing processes and tolerancing, with the ability to translate design surfaces and concepts into manufacturable 3D models.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role from within automotive, wheel design or high-end product development
- Proven experience designing and modelling alloy, cast or forged wheels
- Knowledge of wheel standards and testing requirements
- Experience with interpreting 2D sketches, Alias surface data, and engineering requirements into manufacturable CAD along with Alias surface modelling
- Solid understanding of wheel manufacturing processes along with finishing and coating methods
- Understanding of tolerancing and mechanical constraints
- Team player with good communication skills and able to work under tight time constraints on multi projects at any one time
- There would also be the opportunity to contribute to other vehicle components as necessary
This role can be available as a Contract (Outside IR35) or Permanent position, full time onsite at their magnificent modern offices in Milton Keynes.
