Fabrication Operator
£28,503.89 + 10% Shift Allowance + Bonus
Double Days | 37.5 Hours Per Week

We’re recruiting an experienced Fabrication Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is a great opportunity for someone with Power Press experience looking for a stable, long-term role offering excellent earning potential, training and career development.

The Role:

• Set and operate Power Press machinery safely and efficiently
• Operate Saw and Boschert machinery
• Manufacture components to engineering drawings and work instructions
• Read and interpret technical drawings using Windchill
• Carry out dimensional and visual quality inspections
• Complete basic machine maintenance
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality and housekeeping
• Support continuous improvement within the fabrication department

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous Power Press operating experience is essential
• Experience within fabrication, sheet metal or manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience carrying out dimensional and visual inspections
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Power Press certification or relevant machine qualifications
• Boschert or Saw operating experience
• Forklift licence
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

Experience as a Sheet Metal Worker, Press Setter, Power Press Setter, Fabricator or Steel Fabricator would be advantageous.
