Are you an experienced Technical Operator, Production Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Machine Setter, Process Operator or Skilled Machine Operator looking for a secure, permanent opportunity?

We’re recruiting 8 Technical Operators for a leading food manufacturing business in Telford. These are permanent positions from Day 1, with interviews available straight away.

What’s on offer:

• £35,115 starting salary
• Salary progression to £41,200, increasing to just under £45,500 once fully signed off
• Permanent contract from Day 1
• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
• 12-hour rotating shifts: 7.30am–7.30pm / 7.30pm–7.30am
• Established food manufacturing environment

What you’ll be doing:

• Setting up and operating complex manufacturing machinery
• Completing efficient changeovers to minimise downtime
• Carrying out routine machine checks and cleaning
• Identifying process faults and resolving issues quickly
• Completing pre-use and quality checks
• Working closely with production and management teams to maintain performance and safety standards

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing, production or engineering role
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience operating, setting and maintaining manufacturing machinery
• Good problem-solving skills
• Strong health and safety awareness
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ideally based within 25 miles of Telford
