PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

Location: Telford
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 6:00am - 12:00pm
Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour DOE

Are you an experienced Production Operative, Assembly Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Vehicle Fitter, Mechanical Assembler, Joiner, Mechanical Fitter or Workshop Operative looking for a new opportunity in Telford?

As a Production Operative, you'll play a key role in converting vehicles to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Working as part of a skilled team, you'll benefit from structured day shifts, ongoing training, and clear opportunities to progress your career.

What You Will Do:

• Follow fitting instructions precisely to complete vehicle conversions, including panel vans, cars and 4x4s as part of a dedicated team.
• Use a range of hand tools and apply mechanical assembly know-how to produce consistent, reliable work.
• Ensure every stage of work meets required specification, quality checks, and delivery timeframes.
• Work safely and take care with tools, equipment and vehicle components at all times.
• Maintain strong time management to support smooth production flow across each shift.
• Stay flexible in a Production Operative role, stepping in to support other fitting tasks when required.

What You Will Bring:

• Experience of vehicle conversions is a strong advantage, alongside mechanical assembly ability.
• Comfortable using various hand tools and working to detailed instructions.
• A confident eye for attention to detail and a pride in quality workmanship.
• Good time management and the ability to work reliably across the shift pattern.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and stay flexible as tasks evolve.
