NEW VACANCY - QUALITY INSPECTOR

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector, Visual Inspector, Quality Controller, Final Inspector or Quality Auditor looking for a new job, do you live in (or close) to Telford and are you looking for a long term job?

We are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector to join a well established manufacturing business in Telford (Shropshire), the working hours are 7.45am - 4.15pm Monday to Thursday, and 8am-1pm on a Friday (37 hours per week), the starting rate of pay for this role is £13.10 per hour, rising to £13.34 per hour after probation (with further pay increases available after length of service).

Previous experience from within the Aerospace or Automotive sector would be well received, but the hiring manager is looking for someone with previous visual inspection / quality inspection / final inspection experience gained from within the manufacturing sector.

The hiring manager is looking for someone who lives within a 15 mile radius of Telford, Shropshire.

What You Will Do:

• Conduct final inspections of manufactured components, ensuring they meet customer specifications and technical drawings.
• Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to address any quality issues and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection data and correspondence for daily management meetings.
• Work as part of a dedicated quality team to uphold high standards and deliver exceptional results.
• Play a key role in ensuring all components are customer-ready before dispatch.

What You Will Bring:

• Previous experience in a similar Visual Inspector, Final Inspector or Quality Inspector role from within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with team members.
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards and continuous improvement.
