Junior Maintenance Engineer

Are you a newly qualified Maintenance Engineer or an experienced Machine Operator looking for a role within Engineering? Well this role could be for you, This company is seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer to join its dedicated team at a state-of-the-art facility in Brackley. Working within the Engineering team you will work closely with an experienced Maintenance Engineer conducting routine & reactive maintenance on food process machinery. 

Shift Pattern 4 on 4 off- Day & Nights- 12 hour Shifts.

Salary Up to £30,708 plus Shift Allowance of £8030 plus Benefits 

What You Will Do:

- Optimise machinery output and product quality while minimising plant downtime through effective preventative maintenance and efficient breakdown response.

- Respond quickly to breakdowns in your designated area, identifying root causes and proposing improvements to prevent future occurrences.

- Collaborate with the operations team to minimise disruptions and ensure smooth factory operations.

- Maintain high standards of hygiene and engineering practices in line with company guidelines.

- Adhere to health and safety regulations while actively identifying areas for improvement.

- Follow escalation procedures for unscheduled plant downtime and demonstrate problem-solving techniques to resolve issues efficiently.

- Strong numerical and reasoning skills, meeting entry-level requirements for a technical apprenticeship.
