An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially focused Management Accountant to join a fast-paced, growing business in a highly visible finance role. This position is ideal for a qualified accountant with strong experience in management accounts, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, cash flow management, and business partnering.

As the Management Accountant, you will work closely with senior leadership, providing accurate financial reporting, commercial insight, and strategic analysis to support business performance and decision-making. This is a hands-on finance role offering excellent exposure across the wider organisation without direct line management responsibilities.

We are seeking a confident and analytical finance professional who thrives in a fast-moving commercial environment and can deliver accurate reporting, forecasting, and month-end processes to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
• Full ownership of the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Producing accurate financial forecasting, budgeting, and reforecasting
• Delivering detailed variance analysis and commercial financial insight
• Supporting strategic decision-making through meaningful financial analysis and reporting
• Preparing reporting packs and KPI analysis for senior stakeholders and leadership teams
• Managing cash flow forecasting and working capital reporting
• Business partnering with operational departments to improve financial performance and control costs
• Reviewing and improving financial controls, reporting processes, and efficiencies
• Supporting year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
• Providing ad-hoc analysis to support commercial projects and business initiatives

Skills & Experience Required

• Fully qualified accountant – ACCA / CIMA qualified preferred 

• Proven experience working as a Management Accountant or Commercial Accountant
• Strong experience in forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and management accounts production
• Experience within a fast-paced commercial, service-led, or multi-site environment
• Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills
• Confident communicator with experience presenting financial information to senior stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Commercially minded with a proactive and problem-solving approach
• Available immediately or on a short notice period preferred
