Technical Operators

4 x TECHNICAL OPERATORS NEEDED IN TELFORD (SHROPSHIRE) - PERMANENT VACANCIES

We are looking for 4 Technical Operators to join a leading FMCG manufacturer in Telford (Shropshire) these jobs will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12 hour days and nights 6-6), and the starting salary for these roles will range between £35,000 - £36,300 per annum.

People who have worked in similar job roles such as a Manufacturing Technician, Production Technician, Machine Setter Operator, Process Operator, Skilled Machine Operator, Machine Setter or Skilled Machinist within a manufacturing environment would be a great fit for these jobs.

You will be required to complete an on-line assessment in the first instance, but providing you pass this, you will be invited on site Friday 1^st of May (which will last roughly for 3 hours) and this will include an on-site interview and full factory tour.

You MUST live within a 25 mile radius of Telford (Shropshire).

What You Will Do:

• Operate and monitor advanced machinery to ensure efficient production runs.
• Perform timely machine setups, minimising downtime and maximising productivity.
• Conduct routine maintenance and precision cleaning to optimise machine performance.
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, utilising tools such as process fault trees.
• Carry out quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet high standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production output and downtime, collaborating with the team to exceed targets.

What You Will Bring:

• Proficiency in machine operation, with a focus on efficiency and precision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify root causes of issues.
• Experience in manufacturing or production, particularly in an FMCG environment (desirable but not essential).
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively to achieve goals.
