Press Brake Operator (Nights)

2 x PRESS BRAKE OPERATORS NEEDED IN TELFORD (SHROPSHIRE)

Do you have previous experience with either operating, or setting and operating an Amada or Trumpf Press Brake, and are you seeking a new permanent job opportunity?!

We are actively seeking experienced Press Brake Operators & Press Brake Setter Operators to join a leading sheet metal manufacturer in the Halesfield area of Telford (Shropshire), this will be working a permanent night shift pattern (16.30pm - 03.00am Monday to Thursday) - 39 hours per week, and the basic salary will depend on your skill set.

• Press Brake Operator - annual salary up to £30,000 per annum
• Press Brake Setter Operator - annual salary up to £32,000 per annum

Overtime is also available and is paid at premium rates for anything worked over the basic 39 hours in the week (T1/4 in the week and T1/3 at the weekend).

What You Will Do:

• Load and check programmes as per job sheets while selecting the correct materials.
• Set and operate TRUMPF or AMADA Press Brake machines efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct quality inspections using gauges and equipment to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
• Work from engineering drawings to BS/ISO standards to deliver high-quality results.
• Maintain and clean equipment, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
• Keep the workspace organised and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

What You Will Bring:

• Previous experience setting and/or operating Press Brakes or Punch Presses.
• Familiarity with AMADA or TRUMPF machinery and thin gauge materials.
• Ability to interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A commitment to quality and precision in every task.
