What You Will Do:
- Perform precise mechanical and electronic repairs on aircraft communication and navigation systems, including radar and radio audio units.
- Use specialised and general-purpose test equipment for fault finding, repair, and testing processes.
- Follow manufacturer's component maintenance manuals, regulatory approvals, and the company's quality system to ensure accuracy and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and legible repair records to ensure compliance and traceability.
- Undertake cross-training in other technical areas to align with business requirements.
- Stay updated on the company's working practices and procedures to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
What You Will Bring:
- Relevant technical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, HNC, recognised trade qualification, or equivalent military education.
- Strong skills in fault finding, repair, and testing of electronic components, including through-hole and surface-mounted components.
- Experience working with analogue electronics, microprocessor electronics, and RF circuits.
- A meticulous approach to maintaining high-quality standards and safety compliance.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and processes.
