What You Will Do:

 • Manage customer enquiries and orders via phone and email, ensuring accurate data entry into the system.
• Book and track shipments while providing cost-effective and timely transport solutions.
• Handle customer service administration, including quoting shipments and sourcing suppliers.
• Respond to line stoppage situations with urgency, offering airfreight and alternative solutions.
• Close out job files by obtaining proof of delivery and ensuring all documentation is filed accurately.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maximise profitability, maintain system integrity and meet KPIs.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven experience in the transport and freight forwarding industry, with European planning expertise.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, email, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on delivering results and continuous improvement.

Location & Working Hours: 

This role is based in Redditch, and will require flexibility, including shift work and occasional travel to customer and supplier sites. Fully based on site (no hybrid working). The hours of work are Monday – Sunday, 4 on, 4 off basis, weekend working included, 19:00pm - 7:00am.
