Moulding Process Specialist

A large FMCG manufacturer are seeking a Moulding Process Specialist to lead pioneering projects, drive operational excellence, and make a significant impact within a company that values innovation, precision, and teamwork. Salary £75,000 to £85,000 plus Benefits 

International Travel is required for the role. 

What You Will Do:

- Coordinate and lead engineering developments across multiple sites, ensuring group-wide standardisation and operational excellence.

- Oversee the design and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment, focusing on plastic injection moulding and PCR materials.

- Draft and implement a process improvement programme with measurable objectives to drive efficiency and reduce costs.

- Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering challenges, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

- Train and develop personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

- Prioritise and execute multiple complex projects, driving value improvement and supporting strategic change.

What You Will Bring:

- A proven expertise in injection moulding processes.

- Strong knowledge of tooling, equipment, polymer materials, and precision plastic injection moulding.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to optimise processes using scientific techniques.

- Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to work independently.

- A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving, coupled with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
