As Engineering Manager you will:

• Lead and manage day-to-day design office activities, ensuring efficient resource allocation and seamless project handovers.
• Deliver accurate, high-quality project designs on time and within budget, collaborating across teams to ensure compatibility.
• Drive continuous improvement across design processes, systems, and standards to optimise performance and efficiency.
• Support recruitment, development, and performance of the mechanical engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Provide technical solutions to site visit reports, ensuring customer satisfaction and machine functionality.
• Enhance machine safety and functionality through risk assessments aligned with UK standards and customer requirements.

The Engineering Manager will bring:

• Extensive exposure within design engineering experience of special purpose machinery, processlines and/or capital equipment.
•  Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor teams.
• Expertise in SolidWorks and performing design calculations for mechanical components, drives, and structures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• A proactive and commercially aware approach, with exceptional communication and organisational abilities.
