Maintenance Engineer

We are working with a leading food manufacturer are actively seeking Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. They're have multiple positions across different levels of experience. Salary £36,000 to £55,500 inclusive of shift allowance plus benefits- Salary is based on experience and qualifications. 

Shift pattern rotating days & nights.

What You Will Do:

- Perform planned preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

- Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns across multiple engineering disciplines.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

- Participate in plant modifications and capital investment projects.

- Provide coaching and technical support to colleagues and operational technicians.

- Maintain accurate records and adhere to established engineering procedures.

What You Will Bring:

- A time-served multi-skilled apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.

- Level 3 technical certificate and NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline (HNC preferred).

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across various engineering areas.

- A proactive approach to safety and technical leadership skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on delivering results under pressure.
