What You Will Do:
- Perform assembly and refurbishment tasks on armoured vehicles, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Inspect and prepare vehicles, removing equipment, grinding, and sanding internal surfaces.
- Fit and integrate new parts and equipment following manufacturing instructions and technical drawings.
- Work within a small team to assemble components and meet production deadlines.
- Identify and escalate any issues to the team leader, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Contribute to the company’s 5S policy by keeping the workspace organised and adhering to lean principles.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience working with vehicles, within automotice, off-highway, defence or manufacturing industry.
- The ability to read and interpret design drawings and manufacturing instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with hand-held tools and an understanding of safety standards.
- A proactive and collaborative attitude, thriving in a team environment.
