Production Operative

What You’ll Be Doing

As a production operative, you’ll play a key part in day‑to‑day production activities, including:

• Handling and preparing raw materials for the manufacturing process
• Placing cut material shapes accurately into various production tools (preform, moulding, composite and steel tooling)
• Loading and unloading tools, laminates and preforms into compression presses, ovens and autoclaves
• Carrying out finishing, trimming, and assembly work on composite components
• Packing, labelling and preparing finished products for dispatch
• Laying up composite materials and operating production presses
• Completing production paperwork and recording accurate data

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Good teamwork skills and the ability to work independently when needed
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn new processes
• Experience in composites, automotive, aerospace, or defence manufacturing (desirable, not essential)
