Supplier Quality Auditor

 As a Supplier Quality Auditor, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products while working with a team that thrives on excellence. Working 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday with an early finish Friday, paying £28.00 - £35.00 per hour PAYE, Umbrella or LCC.

What You Will Do:

- Plan, conduct, and document supplier quality system, process, and product audits to meet automotive industry standards, including ISO 9001 as a minimum.

- Support sourcing activities through risk assessments and capability evaluations.

- Monitor supplier performance metrics and lead corrective action activities to resolve quality issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address supplier-related challenges and ensure uninterrupted supply of conforming products.

- Verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions through follow-up audits or reviews.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and supplier development programmes.

What You Will Bring:

- An Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field Qualification, or equivalent experience.

- Must be able to pass a DBS and SC clearance check

- 3-5 years of experience in supplier quality or quality auditing within an automotive manufacturing environment.

- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, and Core Tools such as APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.

- Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.

- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, with a willingness to travel to supplier sites as required.
