Inside Sales Manager - Motorcycles - North America

Our client is a globally recognised motorcycle brand with real heritage in the UK and internationally. In supporting and further developing their active position within the North America motorcycle sector, we are seeking a NEW Inside Sales Manager who will be part of the International Business team (America) within this Global Commercial Organisation.

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for managing and improving the performance of a portfolio of lower-potential dealers through remote engagement (phone, email, video calls and webinars). The role drives sales of motorcycles, apparel and accessories; enforcing the organisations policies and operational standards and ensures seamless integration with the apparel & GMA teams as well as aftersales and marketing to deliver consistent dealer execution and target attainment. This position focuses on coaching, program adoption, order/forecast support, and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

-    Dealer portfolio management:

o    Own a defined portfolio of lower-potential dealerships, act as the primary OEM contact for sales, apparel & accessories performance.

o    Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer owners, GMs and sales leads via scheduled calls, email outreach, and virtual workshops.

-    Sales target delivery & growth

o    Drive achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets across motorcycles, apparel and accessories for assigned dealers.

o    Create tailored action plans (forecasting, merchandising, promotions, lead management) and track progress through reporting tools.

o    Ensure proper credit limit (floorplan) for healthy operations.

-    Virtual coaching & capability building

o    Lead recurring virtual coaching sessions, product training, sales process refreshers, and role-play webinars to raise dealer selling effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

o    Provide on-demand support for quoting, upsell strategies (accessories/apparel), and promotions execution.

-    Program adoption & compliance

o    Ensure dealers adhere to OEM policies, MAP policy, dealer environment standards, warranty/after-sales procedures and reporting requirements. Escalate non-compliance to Head of Sales.

-    Cross-functional coordination

o    Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, National Sales Manager, Apparel & GMA managers, After-Sales and Marketing to align initiatives.

-    Performance reporting & insights

o    Maintain weekly/monthly dashboards showing dealer sales vs target, conversion metrics, inventory & accessory sales rates; recommend/implement/follow-up corrective actions.

o    Use data to prioritize interventions and present results to the Head of Sales.

-    Dealer onboarding & development

o    Support onboarding of new dealers (first 90-day plans), including basic systems setup, processes, and initial product/apparel merchandising inventory.

This internally focused role is essential to support our client's continuing growth of sales in North America for all their ranges of motorcycles, accessories and aftersales activities.

With a suitable Degree or Masters in, marketing or relating business/technical field; you will have/should be:

-    Over 2-years' experience within a similar role and market - ideally automotive/motorcycles.

-    Have a good understanding of the target audiences and customer behaviour / market demands.

-    Where possible have a passion for motorcycling and experience of working with similar product/market groups.

Ideally based in Milwaukee, this role works alongside an existing North American team with growing sales. It also works closely with the overall global business. A great position working for an iconic brand.

Candidate who are interested in this role should be USA nationals.
