What You Will Do:
- Create accurate and timely quotations for a wide range of customers, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Collaborate closely with the external sales team and operational departments to gather material, subcontract, and manufacturing information.
- Manage and continuously improve the internal sales process, ensuring on-time delivery of quotations and maintaining internal metrics.
- Analyse sales performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
- Lead and manage the Internal Sales team, including resource planning, appraisals, and professional development.
- Represent the internal sales function in company management meetings, contributing to strategic discussions and decision-making.
What You Will Bring:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role within an engineering company.
- Strong ability to understand customer drawings, specifications, and procedures, estimating, quoting, bids and tenders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving to drive process improvements.
- A thorough understanding of AS9100 and its application within the industry.
- High level of computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems.
