Quality Manager

A large food manufacturer are seeking an experienced Quality Manager. Working in a state-of-the-art facility, you'll be at the heart of ensuring product safety and quality while contributing to the success of a leading food business.

Shift Pattern- 4 on 4 off- 05:30 - 18:00.   

What You Will Do:

- Lead and manage the QA team to ensure product quality, safety, and legality, meeting customer specifications in a fast-paced environment.

- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of Quality Auditors to ensure continuous development.

- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, HR, and hygiene teams to maintain seamless operations.

- Ensure procedures within the Quality Management System, HACCP, and Food Defence are adhered to across the factory.

- Investigate technical customer complaints, coordinate findings, and implement effective action plans.

- Manage external service providers such as pest control and laboratories while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

What You Will Bring:

- Relevant scientific or food-related qualifications, with extensive experience working within a Quality or Technical team. 

- A practical understanding of BRC standards and retailer requirements.

- Experience working with major retailers, including leading audits.

- HACCP and Food Safety qualifications, alongside internal auditing training.

- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
