Punch Press Operator

Established engineering and fabrication business in Telford seeking a skilled Punch Press operator? As a Punch Press Operator, you will be working with a supportive team producing high quality steel products and working on well-maintained presses. Very good earning and overall remuneration to include 10% pension and 33 days holiday.

Shift: Double days (early and afternoon shift) Mon - Fri

What You Will Do:

• Operate Punch Press machines with precision, ensuring high-quality output.
• Load and unload parts efficiently while adhering to production schedules.
• Conduct quality inspections using equipment and gauges to meet ISO standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to maintain accuracy in production.
• Maintain and clean equipment, keeping the workspace organised and safe.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.

What You Will Bring:

• Previous experience operating Punch Press machines, with Amada machines being a plus.
• A strong ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to plan and work independently.
• A team-oriented mindset combined with excellent attention to detail.
• A commitment to reliability and a professional work ethic.

You will have current experience as punch press setter, punch press operator, turret press operator, brake press setter, brake press operator, CNC punch press operator.
