Mechanical Design Engineer

What You Will Do:

- Design and develop new and existing components and products from scratch, creating innovative solutions tailored to client needs.

- Conceptualise new automation solutions and detail existing designs to ensure precision and functionality.

- Produce site layout designs and comprehensive Bills of Materials (BoMs) to accompany all designs.

- Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering on time.

- Collaborate with clients and suppliers to bring automation aspirations to life, with occasional travel to customer sites in the UK, Ireland, Europe, and the USA.

- Maintain the highest possible standards in all projects, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence.

What You Will Bring:

- Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, ideally with special-purpose machinery.

- A mechanical engineering degree or equivalent qualification, or a minimum of three years' CAD draughting experience.

- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D design software.

- A problem-solving mindset, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.

- Excellent communication skills, fluency in English, and a professional demeanour.
