Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

Introduction
An opportunity has arisen to join the Service Department as an office based, Spare Parts Administrator (Technical).
Job Description
The job will require the successful candidate to work within the UK Service and Spares Department Identifying parts across the whole range of UK, Japanese, Singapore and Chinese built machines, and will include:
- Parts identification and associated general administration
- Sourcing parts and spares, placing orders for them and then tracking delivery
- Taking incoming calls from customers and field engineers, supporting with their queries and requests
- General administration including customer documents, special requests, quotes, orders and credit notes
- Arranging returns to suppliers
- Use of spare parts software, including Parts Information Database
- Communications with other Mazak Production plants
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Professional telephone manner
- Excellent knowledge of all Mazak products
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical manuals
- Team focused and able to meet the targets of the department
- Ability to manage a project through to completion
- Highly motivated and proactive
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- The ability to learn quickly and apply into practice
Desirable Criteria
- An engineering background
- Previous experience in a similar role
- A knowledge of windows-based applications
- Flexible working approach to meet demand (to include overtime if required)
