Punch Press Operator

PUNCH PRESS / PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!!

Do you have previous experience operating an AMADA Punch Press, or AMADA Press Brake, and are you actively seeking a job that could lead to a permanent contract?!

We are actively looking for an experienced Punch Press Operator or Press Brake Operator to join a leading Engineering business based in Telford (Shropshire), this is working a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week), and the job comes with an hourly pay rate of £15.39 per hour (which includes a shift allowance on top of the basic pay rate), this role also comes with regular overtime opportunities that are paid at T1/2 in the week, as well as a monthly bonus, and an 8% employer pension contribution.

What You Will Do:

• Operate a Punch Press or Press Brake machine with precision, ensuring high-quality output.
• Load and unload parts efficiently while adhering to production schedules.
• Conduct quality inspections using equipment and gauges to meet BS/ISO standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to maintain accuracy in production.
• Maintain and clean equipment, keeping the workspace organised and safe.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.

What You Will Bring:

• Previous experience operating an Amada Punch Press or Press Brake
