MECHANICAL ASSEMBLERS NEEDED IN SMETHWICK, WEST MIDLANDS!!

We are looking for up to 4 Mechanical Assemblers to join an Automotive business based in Smethwick, West Midlands, this role will be working day shifts Monday to Friday (40 hour week), and the annual salary will initially start at just under £25,500 per annum.

We are looking for candidates who have a strong mechanical aptitude – ideally from working with engines, vehicle servicing, or general mechanical assembly.

Previous experience using measuring equipment including gauges and calipers is also required.

This role can be repetitive at times, so we are seeking candidates who have good attention to detail, as well as ensuring the components are made to the required customer standards.

The job will be working within a busy clean room environment, previous experience within the Automotive industry would be highly advantageous.

What You Will Do:

• Assess components for their suitability and prepare them for rebuilding.
• Follow Original Equipment-approved build specifications to ensure quality.
• Build and test fuel pumps and injectors to meet manufacturer standards.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
• Adhere to clean room procedures, quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) requirements.
• Meet production targets while maintaining an exceptional standard of work.

What You Will Bring:

• A proven track record of meeting targets and deadlines in a technical or mechanical environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience in mechanical or technical assembly, with knowledge of fuel injection technology being advantageous.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, or a willingness to learn.
• A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
