What You Will Do:
- Provide vital maintenance and technical support to assembly operations to achieve departmental goals and business targets.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, including active participation in accident investigations and near-miss reporting.
- Perform preventative maintenance and system controls to minimise downtime and ensure smooth operation of plant equipment.
- Collaborate on installation projects for new technology and equipment, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the use of the CMMS system to improve maintenance performance and ensure efficient use of spare parts and inventory.
- Adhere to standardised working procedures while contributing to problem-solving activities such as 8D and A3 techniques.
What You Will Bring:
- Time-served apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- IOSH training or equivalent health and safety certifications.
- Experience with preventative maintenance techniques and CMMS systems.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- A professional, organised, and methodical approach to work, with excellent communication skills.
