Machine Operative

What You Will Do:

- Operate machinery such as guillotines, disc cutters, fly presses, and circular saws to manufacture metal to precise customer specifications.

- Package and prepare customer orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and exemplary presentation.

- Collaborate with the General Manager to implement work schedules and meet deadlines.

- Maintain high-quality production standards while identifying and reporting any issues or opportunities for improvement.

- Manage stock and waste metal, ensuring accurate records and proper storage.

- Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and utilise personal protective equipment when operating machinery.

What You Will Bring:

- A basic understanding of manufacturing principles, including measurements and calculations.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform under pressure during busy periods.

- Physically fit to move sheet metal around our factory for cutting to size. 

- A clean driving licence is preferred, and forklift experience is an advantage.

- A team-oriented mindset, adaptability, and reliability.
