What You Will Do:
- React promptly to plant and machine failures, diagnosing and repairing issues to minimise downtime.
- Prioritise safety by ensuring all equipment complies with legal standards and is safe to operate.
- Train and advise plant operators and engineers on both new and existing systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in plant improvement projects, implementing best practices to optimise performance.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and proactively monitor plant systems, ensuring effective utilisation of assets.
- Manage spare parts inventory, raising orders and updating maintenance procedures as needed.
What You Will Bring:
- A time-served engineering apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
- At least two years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnosis skills, including PLC interrogation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
